Also I'm not entirely convinced that the change in animators be a hit. Switching to different grunts with no practice drawing the characters is pretty much guaranteed to have a drop off in art and animation quality from where the first season ended. |

There's something with the kids, but I can't tell what.

^ you know if there are designs shown for the kids. There are chances they will animate it up til vol 8.
This is another 2 cour right? I think animating up till vol 7 and kanami's side story is too small or short for 2 cour.

-_\\\. People. Volumes release dates have nothing to do with it. Tono already has story for 9 or 10 volumes(9th at least was announced for this year) ready and they'll use it all. Then actual volumes will be printed — doesn't matter.

I can't say with certainty that the part with the kids was for volume 8, or if it's filler to explain what they were doing during the scenes of volumes 6 and 7. Hard to tell when there's no context, and I haven't read the web novel so I can't double-check the scenes.

So the voice in the trailer is really Tetora?
As for DEEN taking over the animation department, normally I wouldn't be worried that much as long as it doesn't have any impact the script writing. However, they are gonna cover freaking volume 7, sub par animation quality is a must. |

DEEN shouldn't have any effect on script writing since they're only covering animation. Doesnt sub-par animation mean below average animation ...? I think you meant the opposite, but looking at some better shots of the preview, I'm not terribly sure. Of course, it's only the PV, so it's hard to judge from there. Both Maryelle and William's hair look really stiff and somewhat awkward, though.

I would prefer to think that NHK has done what it could to make LogHora S2 a bigger hit. The Abe government has been talking about promoting Japanese culture to the world again and I hope Log Horizon's appeal might persuade NHK that, yes, this is a worthy investment =3
