The official Despera blog mentions that there are 3 more issues to go before serialization ends. Hopefully by then there's news on the anime part.

Although Ueda is not mentioned as part of Despera production staff so far, he may still be involved somewhat later on. If you have seen some of the entries in the official Despera blog, it shows the staff has been location scouting for their project. I believe they made this graphic novel serialization to get a feel of how they will approach the anime.

Try zooming in to the image by clicking on it when you're inside photobucket page. I'm logged off but still able to zoom in the images.

Gotta say, I'm completely hyped up for this series. I watched Lain a few years ago, and it blew me away with it's surreal story and eccentric characters. Then I watched Haibane earlier this year, and it's one of my favourite anime. ABe did a great job of expressing the characters and their problems and got me completely attached to them. So Despera has me excited.

On the faceless man though, I doubt we'll see his face even in the anime. If we did, it would kind of defeat the purpose of calling him faceless to begin with.
