After this chapter I got so many complains and questions. It feels like the author thinks we are stupid and just accept it like it is or is just the anime skiping a lot of info?, I don't know and I won't stay to find out.

Hahahaha, how funny it is to watch a kid that grew up being raised as a normal person get shat on for not knowing how to use ninja equipment... it is soooo funny.

I mean, it's not like he can just tell the teacher "I was raised as a normal kid until a few days ago, so of course I don't know about any of this, please give me a proper explanation" or just telll those Koga assholes "dude, I literally just found out about ninjas being real and about my family like a couple of days ago, I literally know nothing of what you are talking about", but this being anime that would probably make them bully him even harder because... reasons, I guess.

Definitely surprised that the Koga assholes didn't just randomly turn into rapists against the blonde girl, I mean, that's the fall back for Japanese series to show how bad other people are, so I am glad that so far that has been avoided.

Somehow it seemed like a good idea to marathon this series up to episode 6 and... holy shit it should be a crime against humanity to make a ninja show this crappy. Maybe ninjas were an unfortunate casualty of the Reiwa era? Hmm...

I don't like the excessive turncoat tropes which obviously won't stop yet, but on the whole, the story is still interesting enough. What happens to Ittoki after this turning point will make or break the series for me.

I will take back everything I have said about this show if it's smart enough to pull the wool over our eyes and we later find out that Ittoki's mother is alive and disguised and that the one that died was someone else who was acting as her double, because that's what ninjas would do.

I have zero hope of this happening, but let's give the show the benefit of the doubt.

Why didn't Ittoki just give Tokisada (literally the strongest and only character worth calling a ninja) the secret core and let him solo the whole Koga clan?

Why is Ittoki, the dude who spent a semester in ninja school and was still failing by the time it closed, all of a sudden being shown as super competent just because he did like Aizen and put his hair back?

Why didn't those Koga ninjas look up at the ceiling?

Why is the ninja police so useless?

This, so much. Been wondering the exact same thing for the past few weeks. And yea, obviously not gonna bother with criticizing any of the dumb shit as it ends next week. This was indeed a comedy, just not the way I initially thought it was gonna be

What I find interesting is despite the general hate this show is getting on this forum, some users on the anime side of Reddit still seem to like following Ittoki despite its shortcomings.

Even the ANN reviewer assigned to follow the episodes still seems to somewhat enjoy the series - they admit it has issues but there are parts which work out well for them. (And especially when you consider that some of their reviewers can get really crochety about what they watch).
