my vary first drawing ( anime / manga )

last time i was drawing was back in school i was 12 yr,s old ore somting ( no i am 22 ( almost 23 )

i watch a lot of anime and did see a lot of ( how 2 draw anime/manga style video,s )


this is the first face i draw by hand so plz tell me what i can do 2 make it better !

Well, you gotta remember that the Fan Creations board is rather slow, so it might take a few hours/days for someone to post on your thread.

But you asked for opinions, so I'll do my best.

What I would first suggest to you is to work on your observation skills. Drawing is just half of the actual drawing, and half of a lot of other skills you have to master. One of them is observation. Try looking at a profile picture of a manga/anime you like and try getting a basis from that.

I say this because, in the overall drawing process, you're not a complete beginner. I can see that in the detailing on his/her hat. So what I suggest is getting a good, solid basis on human anatomy and working your way into the manga style from there.

Try making the chin less protuberant, too. The way the neck connects to the face is definitely not that steep.

Check the image I'm uploading. It's a little basics on profile faces.

Coneheads mofo, can you see it?

Yeah, I know. I do have trouble with circles though. Although I did that with the intention of showing him the basics around the chin/eyeline. I think that's the most critical point atm.

yes i know what u mean

but sins i yest started out i take it one step @ a time ( first i did try the face ( pic 1 )
the eye.s ware vary off scale and some ather problems

second i was playing whit the hair ( and it got a lil messy )
also tryed a new type of eye

what i will do next = try making body parts ( arm torso legs ) after that hands feet and after that i wil start and try shadows

i cant go full out in yest 1 picture i use them as practice cus if i want 2 doo everyting @ the same time it wil get a vary big mess

and way i uploaded the final of pic 2 ( no body and a lot of smear cleaned out som of it on the side,s

but from the sec pic how are the eye,s and the hair now ? ( right side of the hair is kinda outbalance ( stoped drawing ) and after 2 hours i dident know what i did any more :P

I was under a very strict teachings by my cartoonist teacher, he said don't draw like a american carrtoonist but draw like japanese it took me 6 years of studying and praticing to get my work where it now.

after some try,s whit the clotting
i came up whit this last picture

a small skirt ore dress dident fit her
so i took the easy way out

ATM i did stop working on this picture ( sins i don't know what i want 2 do whit her )
and some tings in the upper body i don't like and need more skill 2 correct that and find out what it is i don't like

ATM i am working whit a ather picture ( dif pose head up looking @ the sky evil way :P
