Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai (Dahlia in Bloom)

Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai (Dahlia in Bloom) is getting an anime adaptation

Synopsis

Quote:
After dying of overwork in Japan, Dahlia is reborn into a world filled with magic. Raised by a master of magical toolmaking, she develops a passion for the craft and becomes engaged to her father's apprentice. Before her father can see her wed, however, he suddenly passes away. As if this weren't enough, on the day before their wedding, her fiancé announces that he's in love—but not with her!
Dahlia finally realizes she needs to live for herself. She vows to be her own woman from now on and devote herself to her craft, even if it's not quite the quiet life she was hoping for! From a chance encounter with a knight to starting her own company, there are challenges aplenty on the horizon. But this young craftswoman is no longer a shrinking violet—she's Dahlia, and she's ready to bloom.

I think that backstory was piled on a bit much. Usually the backstory picks between the crappy life before isekai or just growing up with a bad hand in a fantasy world. Here she manages to have a bad normal life and a mostly bad isekai life until the very last couple sentences .

Well, best of luck to her in the show itself .

This sounds like a cute story...minus dying of overwork, dad dying, and her fiance leaving her for another woman .

Saori Onishi as a redhead .

Oh, and saving the male lead for the literal last few seconds. I heard the romance isn't overt and a really slow burn, so that makes sense .

The story sounds familiar. An overworked OL is transferred or reborn. Anime story is about a struggle. The behind the scene production is another struggle. The recent news hints the production could be jeopardized due to the contractor outsourced work to another contractor. Japan having sanction to North Korea makes things more complicated. The studio announced that they were unaware about their contractor's action.

There is no news update about the event. In construction industry, it is not uncommon that a subcontractor hiring another subcontractor. The worst outcome is dropping quality. Not sure it will apply to anime production.
