Akane doesn't really know much in reality though.

She just talked a few times with him as a classmate, and probably guessed that he might be the one who had saved her during her kidnapping. She doesn't even know that he is a Chuunibyou, nor that he has a grandeur fetish.

The only thing she could guess is that he had used Earth Technological knowledge in the Other World, but she would probably stay quite about it as she believes him to be her savior.

Cid says in volume 4 that they got involved a lot. We have to remember that in the novel they met in the second year and Cid died in the third year.

Cid discovered through Alpha that the kingdom is governed by 13 corrupt nobles.
He becomes jealous of this and decides to do something about it.
In the meantime he gets involved with Christina, who is a noble girl from volume 5.
She hates corrupt nobles and is happy for them to be killed.
At the end of the arc she takes on the legacy of Jack the Ripper and kills Eliza.

The king of Midgar is an intelligent king. He knows that Iris is connected to the cult and that Alexia is connected to SG, so no matter who wins between them, Midgar will survive.
The next volume should focus on the country of elves.

Also confirming a total war against Oriana.

The second part of the volume is about SG and some stories from WN were reintroduced in LN.

Alpha sent Delta after Zeta. And an interesting thing is that Delta meets Cid while he is with Alexia and Christina. Alexia asks who Delta is and says that in Midgar it is forbidden for nobles to have slaves and Cid says that she is a pet. Delta doesn't like Alexia and asks if she can beat up her, but Cid forbids it. Delta also has a subordinate named Pi who is stupider than Delta, but has a better nose.
Claire is still sleeping and is being watched by a sexy doc named Mu who is part of the SG and possibly part of the Zeta faction. Cid makes a joke about how great it would be if Claire slept forever and this makes Mu and Nina think he wants Claire dead. haha ha

And Cid doesn't know that Mu is part of the SG, but he recognizes her skills as being of a high level.

At the end of the arc, Cid finds Loki (disguised as a normal person) in a corridor, Cid says to himself that that person is quite strong.

-Regarding the volume, it was good, although I like that Christina tries to take Cid/Jack's place, I see it as somewhat complicated since she lacks skill and training (although perhaps SG will train her properly over time).
-Also Alexia is surely going to actively try to collaborate with SG..., I wonder how much longer it will take to find out that Pochi is Shadow..., I'm waiting for that XD.
-I am intrigued by this supposed trap that the Cult is preparing for Shadow, what will it be about?
-Although I would have liked Zeta and Claire to have more time in the scene, I suppose that will be for later. The next volume will take place in the Kingdom of the Elves, right? maybe Alpha and her aunt Beatrix will have an important role there, or maybe in that volume we will talk about the total war in which the Kingdom of Oriana will be involved, let's wait the next volume.
