This is mainly a "Adventure Journey" plot type series, with an OP protag on a mission to fight OP opponents.

As for the boring personality, MC is like that because he has a mentality of a Corporate Slave.

Hmm, sounds like the same formula as the Weakest Crest. I saw a cute heroine on the cover of v1 and now even that hope is dashed.

Well, since Weakest Crest is also another Series by the same Author, its not surprising.

Plus that Author has written more Series, which could also get Anime adaptation.

Weakest Crest at least had Iris and Lurie, this has... slimes?

I'd have nothing against a solo hero if there were some kind of stakes, but so far Yuuji just seems to go from town to town because he doesn't want people to be dependent on him or something. Its just kind of bland.

That's in the Anime only.
In the Manga atleast (not sure about LN as no translation), he is going from Town to Town because he is either getting Guild quests to for those places or getting tired of the people around him.

Like in the Manga, he left the first town, because he was getting tired of people being festive towards him for days after saving the town from the monster stampede. So, he asked the Guild Master for a new place to work at, and he suggested to move to the town of Kilia as it is big and has more quests to do (it wasn't considered odd, as only a few Adventurers are fixed to a single area, most just roam around to find new quests to do).

It doesn't matter why he's like that. Him being like that sucks out all the fun out of the series. I was hoping there'd be a heroine or side characters to offset that.

Well, that was anti-climactic. So it's a continent/world destroying level threat, then one dude solos it and that's the most reaction there is? lol Also curious about how that negative MP works. First ep he was -~200k and was able to cast the hellfire spell one more time then passed out. He was almost the same amount negative here, but cast twice more and walked it off.

Dryad is pretty cute; I think if I were him I'd just settle down with her and make little saplings lol

Well, its explained by this point in the Manga, but the Negative MP works by

Spoiler:

decreasing his HP. Aka., for a percentage of Negative MP, his HP would get damaged. Which is why he was swaying after casting spells multiple times in Episode 1. But as his Level increases, so does his HP, resulting in him being able to manage the recoil more easily later on.

Not sure why the Anime had skipped it, but then again the story format is different in the Anime compared to Manga.

They really kept the suspense until the last minute for the translation of the name in the scroll. And he probably should have caught at least one of the Blue Moons of Salvation for interrogation. He's already seen countless times how they commit suicide so he should just make them not close their mouths to not break the poison. But that wouldn't lead to a big setpiece of stopping a magic nuclear explosion with a magic barrier so ehh.
