The amount of Putin Simps being fueled by primal anti-Americanism is amazing in their ability to cling onto that sweet belief that Zelensky is just a puppet in Gendo Ikari Biden's masterplan for a new world order. It seems to them that Slavic countries never had any agency to begin with, other than submit to Russia to protect them against the Evil Brown People and the LGBT lobby. This is literally what they believe NATO is, a screen for NWO.

Libertatea (Paper in Romania) covered news on Ukrainians detaining a pro-Donbass sniper Baghera. Heard that she's from Serbia.

https://www.libertatea.ro/stiri/cele...-lupta-4053391 (Romanian URL)

Got a translation of it.

Quote:
The famous sniper "Baghera" was captured by the Ukrainians, after the comrades abandoned her wounded on the battlefield

By Cosmin Stăniloiu ,

Saturday, March 26, 2022, 2:50 p.m.. Last update Saturday, March 26, 2022, 3:00 p.m.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces has captured a sniper from the so-called DPR / LPR armed forces, which have been involved in the war against Ukraine since 2014, the Defense Ministry's Kiev news agency, Army Inform , reported .

"ZSU took the famous sniper Baghera from ORDLO prisoner, who shot us prisoners in 2014. According to some volunteers, she killed at least 40 Ukrainians, including civilians," the source wrote.

According to volunteer Vlad Ivanov, Baghera was injured when she was captured and given medical assistance. According to the Ukrainian intelligence services, since 2014, she has been serving in the units of the "People's Militia in the DPRK".

She claims that she was abandoned on the battlefield: "They abandoned me. Knowing that I was injured and had the opportunity to take me away, they decided to leave me, hoping that I would die, "she explained. Baghera, alias Irina Starikova, is actually a Serbian handball player, Daniela Lazovic, who has a criminal background in her country.

She was for a time a nun named Mother Xenia in Gornji Milanovac, then was convicted of drug trafficking, converted to Islam, and in 2014 arrived in Ukraine, where she joined pro-Russian separatist forces in the east of the country from Donbas.

She has been hunted down by the Ukrainian military and secret services since 2014, after she was accused of killing Ukrainian prisoners captured by separatist forces.

BTW, I saw some videos on youtube that say chechen fighters are currently stationed in ... Belarus! Seems to me their leader is all talk and no action (unless said action involves pocketing some money).

Still no confirmation of Syrian fighters on the battlefield, neither the infamous warner group.

One thing is certain, china, india and saudi arabia must be rethinking about buying weapons from russia atm, it ic clear after grozny, aleppo and mariupol that unless you are into medieval warfare, their weaponry is not 21st century level.

Ukrainian military intelligence did show dog tags from the Wagner Group. They've been in Ukraine before.

For the pro-Kadyrov Chechens, Ramzan himself staged a scene where he lead a capture of a Ukrainian APC where he was geolocatead to be in Grozny.

Otherwise, those guys are doing well in Mariupol...

Things are heating up in Azerbaijan, probably as a consequence of Russian army losing respect and having to relocate resources.

ethnic tensions in that region seem to be a delicate issue, so I’ll refrain from taking a side

For some situations, they might not need to have 21th century stuff, (like whatever Saudi Arabia is doing in Yemen) but if the reported 60% failure of some weapon systems is close of the true that would be a good reason to rethink twice about using russian stuff.

France 24 has a video on fighting in Irpin. There's a section of it that showed Ukrainians who fought in the FFL and French-speaking volunteers protecting the areas under their control to allow civilians to leave.

This is something that afaik is completely new (and revolutionary), at least I do not remember in syria, yemen or other recent conflicts receiving on the clock video updates on the invasion and I do not mean only recognized news sources, yesterday on my youtube feed appeared a video from a ukranian soldier on the trenches (it was windy, so no missiles were launched atm) giving a resume of the day progress and thanking the international community for their support.

Back during the iraq invasion not only journalists were "embedded" with the coalition forces, but it wasn't common for everybody to have a smartphone that could record hours of video nor there any social networks where to upload said videos for the world to watch.

There is no way putin can keep the younger russian generation unaware of the situation and no doubt many will tell their older relatives (and they have recent video, photos, audios to show). Of course there will be many older folks that will say it is the right thing to do, just as no doubt there are many older usa citizens out there that would approve their army bombing Mexico (for whatever reason).

Syrian pounds spotted after Ukrainian soldiers checked corpses of Russian soldiers. Looks to be recent. Either Wagner contractor or Russian soldier who had a previously deployment in Syria.

As I expected, the retreat is starting. But putin will try to maintain territory occupied in the south (and probably jerks off to the idea of conquering the whole black sea coastline), even though the army is depleted of everything atm and has no means to replenish in short order. putin's disdain for human life (whether of his slavic brothers or his own people) is no different from what medieval kings used to do and people seem to forget that was the reason many fled to the Americas, they rather take their chances with (poorly quipped) hostile natives than to die in yet another dumb war. Wouldn't surprise me if there is a new mass exodus if putin forces a massive recruitment of those 18+.

The question would be where would they go; they might want to emigrate but maybe they won't be abble to do so.

maybe I'm wrong, but losing Donbas after losing Crimea just means the Russians will regroup and try again in a few years
