Pretty standard Kirisu fare. Not best of hers, but there is still time. Flashback seems bit unecessary, but plasauble and continuity checks out.

I don't dislike shorter hair either.

On her hair, while I do prefer longer hair. Mafuyu is too powerful to be nerfed by short hair, she looks absolutely gorgeous in that as well.

That was alright. Not a mindblowing first chapter or anything. But pretty steady.

Of course pulling the same move as last time with these two ending up neighbors. But...that does work pretty well for letting them spend time together. So hey, that's fine.

Can't wait to see how this plays out.

First chapter and we're already seeing the return of Mafuyu running gags like her messiness, her overreaction to bugs, and Nariyuki getting a full view of her butt.

Amusing 2nd chapter, but I would give the edge to Senpai based on the first two chapters. Nariyuki dropped a line about chasing and catching up, but it doesn't feel like they are in love with each other at all, just male-female curiosity and awkwardness. It's not like this couldn't be built from 0 to love, but so far it was always revealed that there was something mutual all along in the end.

If I remember correctly, there was an article about romantic clichés, tecniques few years ago, and females actually hate the tugging the shirt of the male character scenes.

It was fun that the game sensei chose mirrored exactly her relationship with Nariyuki, too bad none of them noticed. It should have made for a really embarassing scene.
So far there was no mention of the taboo of dating an (ex) student and Ii'm gglsd for that. I would be perfectly fine is this route consist only of fluff and slice of life moments that lead Nariyuki and sensei to develop feelings for each other without any added drama.

Except here chemistry doesn't feel shoehorned. Yuiga and Mafuyu both act pretty much same as they always did and no without any taboo in the way it leads natural progression.

So basicaly it's nothing like Fumino route

So far pretty slow going. I'd say it has some decent similarities to the Fumino route, but that's not a big deal. With this many final routes they are going to share some similarities.

Hopefully in a chapter or two things will pick up a bit. But nothing wrong with taking their time here.

I would say it's more similiar to Rizu route with all that drama-free slice-of-life romcom instead.

I didn't particularly like this week's chapter.
The setup is reminiscent of Senpai's fake dating chapters, but at least they referenced the chapter with Natsumi. There were no stakes here, as the "spies" had no real intention of throwing Sensei under the bus. They are enjoying seeing Mafuyu like this. Her parents however will most likely come at this rate, and they will be the true opposition in this route.

I liked it, it was a nice way to bring the two of them a step closer, and we got a hint of Nariyuki's true feelings. So far I think simplicity works well for this route.

I think it could be done without whole this "fake dating" farce. Bonus routes have limited amount of chapters after all.

If nothing else this arc seems to be hitting home how many antics and angles they can approach each final arc with. Returning back to the fake dating option, though hey it gets the ball rolling anyways.

Not sure I want to explore the potential psychological aspects of Yuiga comparing the headpat from sensei with his father.

Looks like Nariyuki made an early confession at the end of the 4th chapter. There shouldn't be anything that would make Sensei misunderstand, but since it's early and the confession didn't really had a good highlight and buildup, I would be surprised if she just accepts and awkward dating starts.

You might be right, but there isn't really any roadblock. Personally I don't think there will be any particular drama, though it would be normal if Mafuyu took few days to make decision.

Confession time, and yeah, there is no room for misunderstandings or other shenanigans. I'd love for them to start dating immediately but I guess this is the time for some drama instead.
