I don't know if Vector expected the American players would start cutting up his own side, but I doubt he paid any mind to it .

A part of me can't take the American seriously with their Engrish .

Asuna obviously not taking it well when people from her world come in and start slaughtering Underworld denizens. She got ticked just seeing them slaughtering the Dark Territory, and they were her enemies at the time .

Dang it, Alice! You never break ranks when the bad guys are specifically after you .

SAO has made gouging out one's own eye into a consistently awesome feat, as The Champion takes his own eye out to rebel against his programming and joins the heroes in repelling the American players .

I'm not surprised to see Sheyta stick around with the pugilists, marking The Champ as hers because she's the only one who can cut him. Get a room you two .

There is something oddly majestic about Asuna on a white horse .

Did Vassago realize Kirito might also be in the Underworld if Asuna was there too? And is he going to use his GGO account to log back into the Underworld ?

And descending from the heavens...Goddess Sinon! And what a spectacular entrance with Sinon taking down the 2nd wave with one single arrow shot. And of course she comments on it's firing capability like a pro .

Asuna's kind of been on her own in the Underworld so it's nice to see her get to reunite with a friend. Sinon can join the girl gang with Kirito now .

Although if Sinon's already arrived...where's Leafa? Didn't they dive together ?

I also wonder if their accounts will have restrictions like Asuna does in terms of their overpowered capabilities. Sinon might not be able to do that multi-barrage arrow consecutively .

They actually kept Kirito comatose the entire season. Wasn't expecting that.

Other things teased in the Opening that we didn't see:

1. Alice and Asuna tag-teaming Vector.

2. Leafa's Underworld form.

At the very least I'm kind of impressed that most of this season is going to have Kirito unconscious. Obviously he's going to come back at some point. There's just no way that they'd leave him out even though that would be sort of cool to do. He did his work in the first half and those impacted by it carry on for the second. But, nah. He'll be back. Also kind of betting that while Sinon went to help...Leafa just went to go check on her brother .

One moment that did have me pausing was Asuna leading everyone into an obvious trap. I know they are in a hurry. But...that big pit with raised ground all around it just screams "you are going to be attacked here!" Oh well. They did need to create some hype.

Although with the power Sinon showed off...did they need to ask ALO players for help? The American players suck. They only have numbers on their side. If even just the harem+Klein show up they should have more than enough firepower to demolish these losers.

I wonder if Sinon will have as much of a drawback for her abilities as Asuna does. Of course, I'm sure they're saving up for Leafa to make a big entrance .
