Hina is being taken care of at home, but she's still in a coma.
A couple of characters come over to visit her and we see their current circumstances.
It is revealed that Natsuo and Hina used to date in his high school days to everyone.
Kajita is a head chef now and Rui invited him over. Natsuo just says he will supprt whatever Rui does in the future.
At the end of the chapter Rui hands Natsuo a marriage registration. It is not shown whose names are on it.

A Natsuo x Hina ending would feel like crap if it happens because Rui decided to run away (again). The only proper ending for this sort of stories is for the MC to make the choice, but here Rui's basically making the choice for him.

This is bad writing at its finest.

Honestly, DomeKano is, by far, the worst manga I've ever read & rightfully so, because of Sasuga's trash writing with too many forceful self-inserts.

The story would have fared better if she just stayed the Natsuo x Hina course after the breakup with Rui, but not like this. Instead, Sasuga just didn't hesitate to dangled Rui over & again. Even after the breakup, she still forced Rui to get back with Natsuo again; and then a forced pregnancy on Rui that almost came from nowhere & had everyone in the story & even the audiences to kneel before the Natsuo x Rui end without protest & questions.

It's almost like Rui was almost getting away with everything she (frankly) don't deserved to be entitled to begin with. And now, Rui came to admit that she has being a deceitful snake to both Natsuo & Hina, all this time. For that, she has the right to concede from that blunder.

Damn! That kind of super messed up narrative is just... beyond insufferable.

Poor Hina truly deserves better than having a cruel fate which Sasuga instilled on her...

True. However the difference is that watching a soap opera you know what to expect. In this manga however we had expectations for it to end well. I mean it has GE (good ending)in it for god sakes. We/many hoped it would become one. :P Only to be disappointed. xD

Good Ending was the author's previous work, which I read.
This story has nothing to do with that previous story.
