As for Odysseus I really don't like that techno like armor he has... Is he supposed to be a pseudo Servant like Mash or something?

Arc 2 deal with parallel universes that have diverged from human panhistory to the point they are no more what we know. Those are supposedly timelines that have been pruned because they have no more potential, either by being too grim or too "perfect".

i.e: In the universe of Nasu, the universe of K.Dick's and its expanded TV series version "Man in the High Castle" and the universe of Warhammer 40k will likely be pruned because they are so bleak and so hopeless that there is no more hope for Humanity to prosper and develop its potential as a species.

On another note... is it possible that the wiki is horribly outdated? According to the wiki I should have around 5 Snake eyes by now (as a reward), yet I have 0.

How does one survive that anyway? Guts? Max HP increase? or do those count as defensive buffs too?

According to Chiron's NP (also removes a defensive buff), only Defense Up, Damage Cut, Dodge, Invulnerability, Ignore Class Disadvantage, and Instant Kill Resist are considered defense buffs. Confirmed this via Saber Diarmuid, who also removes defensive buffs.

To survive, you'd want guts, massive NP damage down, or to seal his NP entirely. Or buff removal resistance, as XFire suggested. But that's not something widely available or targetable.

On another note: Does it even make sense to level my Servant's past lv 40 before finishing Okeanos? Both the Snake Jewels as well as the claws Cu need seem to have really crappy drop rates, and the info that you get the materials as reward is apparently only true for the JP servers...

You can always do the daily quests for materials. Alternatively, you wait for the next event.

And trust me when I say, is best to have your servants leveled above what the game recommends you, if possible.

Okeanos in particular, there's a free quest there with an above average drop rate for the Snake Jewel. For the Claw of Chaos there's one in Septem.

Asagami was a rare one that hasn't been seen in 2 years on the JP server so far so I made sure to summon more than one copy during that event.
