In the previous volume's SS Nicks was given by Leon the island property of the corrupt noble family that was allied with that band of sky pirates, he was given that family's rank of count with the island too, so he needed a wife of high status, then Deidre's father offered his elder daughter to him, due to her having some peculiar hobbies and tastes she hadn't been able of getting married yet, Nicks would be her unfortunate/fortunate toy and he would take care of the nobles arguing against Nick's promotion, Leon and his father acceptted in his instead without giving him veto right, Nicks tried in a panic to be incredibly rude to the sister thinking that when offended she would refuse to be his wife, unfortunately for him the sight him acting rebellious just turned her even more on because if the man needs of time and effort to be tamed is even better in her opinion.

I really don't get what's Nick complaining about, he got land, got noble's status and got a gorgeous wife. Given that fate that the male commoners and low level nobles has on the kingdom, I say he won the lottery

He wanted a "normal" wife with roughly the same status. Dorothea's family is really high up and the level of responsibility and expectations is something he wasn't prepared for.

The heroine love her knight.
I don't think you can place Additional character in the third game, save for capture target who became Creare's Guinea pig.

Maybe in LN, Erica will be real native instead of reincarnator (Leon's past niece). She will be different character while Leon's niece will be another character as well.
