This LN is probably on hiatus, but I just wanted to post my impressions after reading the spoilers for volume 8 all the same. The alternate timeline shown in volume 8 has Sento marrying Kanie and they have the most miserably life ever. To me, that suggests Kanie is gonna end up with Latifah.

Not really. They are not miserable because of eachother. They clearly still love eachother in that timeline. It is still quite clearly Sento and Kanie endgame.

Clearly you read some fake spoilers on 4chan. Refer to Miso, the author couldn't have been more clear that sento won the kanye bowl (if you could even call it a bowl)

Not interacting due to work and drifting apart are two different things, Thats one hell of a leap in logic.

Spoiler for v8:

Those same spoilers go on to say that sento died despite kanies best efforts to keep the park running for her life support. He then lives in a state of denial while latifah morphed into a gerbil due to the shock of sento dying

This is all ignoring the very obvious facts. A. Kanie and sento confessed their feelings towards each other and were one phone call away from itching the ditch B none of that future timeline stuff is going to happen now that kanie was warned about it. C nothing in said future timeline suggests that Kanie developed feelings for latifah.

All this talk about shipping, it states explicitly in the TL that "sento was one of the only reasons kanie stayed sane during that time"

The problem isn't the relationship, the flashback is earning against his "exodus" plan and moving to another park.

Which is depressing as v8 is nearly finished amd no mews about the hiatus ending.
