so people forgot that he is only an artist.. not the writer

They went overboard making Erina's bursting make the building naked. I get that it's to show that Souma's dish was just that amazing, but still. And yet, even though her bursting did that, she still won't call the dish delicious. But I guess it's a good that it's less because it's not good at all and only "disgusting" in front of the dish she's going to make, which I guess implies that she won the Blue. Though it's also possible that Souma still won (but it's unlikely that Erina's God Tongue would fail her here).

The nightmare is finally over. This series finally ended.

It still doesn't make sense that Souma defeated Saiba Asahi so easily. But I shouldn't complain. This conclusion is still much better than having the series drag out another 100-200 cringing chapters.

Both were the ones who draw the final product to be released on magazine. Not saying he is the only one to blame, just different circumstances.

If there's anyone who deserves the blame is the editor.

@amasposu: That's not the true ending. There are going to be three extra chapters in Jump GIGA. Read the announcement at the end of the chapter for details if you haven't already.

I know. There are a few chapters left but the story is basically finally over. I am glad it didn't drag out much further.

I thought the author meant to end this earlier, but someone (editor, publisher or whoever) wanted to milk this as much and as long as possible. At least, that’s what I heard. The series seemed different since azami’s arc. Not saying he’s the main cause, but it started with him.

Yeah, the ending was sh*t, felt rushed. As some said, felt like the series got “bleached” but hey, at least it’s finished now.

I think it's the complete opposite and he meant for the manga to last a lot longer but it got axed.

Unless we have an interview where Tosh says he contributes to the story, he deserves literally zero blame. He just draws what he's instructed to draw.

The spoilers sound good. And Erina winning feels like it was a given, since she did say that compared what she's going to make, Souma's dish tastes disgusting (not disgusting by itself, just in comparison to her dish).

Someone else also said it back then, but by doing what he did, Souma kind of threw the match. He may have done that on purpose knowing that Erina would win that way.
