Aw man, now this show's taken a turn for the weird. I love the reveal of the senators turning out to be a bunch of random sacred arts users in pods being fed through tubes. Reminds me of another certain show. Also, not gonna lie...Eugeo looks good in knight armor.

So Kirito pulls Alice all the way up while she's recovering...and she pushes his face into the floor because he got her skirt wet from sweat. The picture of gratefulness .
Eyepatch Alice! Still cute, but with a lasting scar of her determination, not that I imagine it'll stick . Wow, Bercouli willed himself out of his stone imprisonment to impart some inspiration words to Alice and make sure Kirito swears to protect her. That's pretty Gar. Then again, considering who's voicing him, I'm not surprised . For a brief moment, Kirito was once again wielding two swords. Even Alice could tell how it looked just right on him . It's kind of sad that Alice knows about her past and is determined to restore herself but still doesn't have the memories to care about or acknowledge Eugeo beyond him being Kirito's "partner" . So if I'm understanding right, all the Integrity Knights underwent this Synthesis process that transformed them and gave them the abilities of the Integrity Knights (and put them under Quinella's thrall), but for Alice they had to force the Synthesis because she didn't want to do it. I guess the other Knights would've been more unwilling if they had been aware of the brainwashing and their memories being altered . I'm also guessing Quinella personally doing Eugeo's Synthesis process is why he is so advanced in his abilities compared to where he should be. I assume Chudelkin was buying time until Quinella could finish with Eugeo . Y'know, setting aside the brainwashing, Eugeo really does look good as a knight. And that final scene of him and Kirito charging at each other was pretty awesome. Hopefully their duel lives up to the hype .
