I really want to know what the connection is between Shiki and Elsie. It seems to be because of the Demon King from Granbell or whatever that machine planet's name was, but is there more to it than that? And if she's got a connection to that Demon King, shouldn't she be an ally of Shiki? Why is she doing this? So many questions.

The reveal about planet Norma and the Time Eater was interesting. It's good to know that there won't be any time paradox from that younger Weizs and current Professor Weizs meeting.

According to the official translation, Elsie is calling Shiki the one who will surpass the Demon King. not herself. On the one hand, this could be a mistranslation that later chapters will correct; on the other hand, they correctly called Weisz's planet "Norma" when the original version in Japan called it "River" for a single chapter.

Either way, even if there's no direct connection, the important thing is that the Demon King has a name for himself outside Granbell.

Just read the chapter. I wonder who the that robot (?) at the end is, with the "E4" written on the forehead.

This chapter revealed something interesting about Mother. Being born again? I wonder if that means that those who visit Mother will be given another life with the memories of their previous life forgotten? Maybe Shiki had gone there before and this is his next life after that. It'd explain why he felt like he'd already seen her before.

It's also possible that "Mother" is his own mom. If that's possible. Though that'd mean he's a god or demigod. But if this is the case, it may mean that something happened that gave him amnesia.

Anyway, it seems like there's still some infestation remaining on that ship.

It'd be good if Shiki and Elsie can really be good friends if they meet again. I'd especially hate it if they became enemies.

They're kind of different in that Elsie is a space pirate. Erza was at least someone the government had no inherent problem with. The government is going to inherently have a problem with pirates since they're basically criminals. Now, yes, because of the shenanigans caused by Fairy Tail, the Magic Council does have a problem with them, but the problem isn't with Erza specifically is it? It's a problem they have with all of Fairy Tail.

Spoiler for Chapter 13: Shiki unlike Luffy is not a pirate but an adventurer but both have similar goals. Luffy wants to go to the One Piece while Shiki wants to meet "mother" (that giant planet size goddess). Both goals are said to be impossible to do (Shiki objective is even more difficult since not even the Demon King was able to do and is unknown if someone has accomplished that goal). All past Shiki fights seems to be easy since he never fight another Ether Gear user before like Elsie/Skull Erza (apparently Elsie's Ether Gear is those tentacles parasites but has not been confirmed).
