Life? Anything? Nobody knows. Literally the only thing in the lore is that he and his brother survived Ragnarok. There's no info on his family, death, etc. All that is known about Magni is that he and his brother Modi are Thor's sons(Magni meaning Strong and Modi meaning Angry), that he has strength to lift a giant, was gifted Gullfaxi(the golden horse Odin won in a race) by his father for lifting a giant off him and that he survived Ragnarok and would go on to inherit his father traits and Mjolnir. All that is known about him is trivia. The only one norse mythological figure as obscure as him is god Ullr(god of archery, son of Sif, whose existence in myths predates most written norse myths and yet who supposedly was Odin-level of importance in the older unknown myths at some point) , but Magni is relatively even more obscure than that.

Hell, his brother is more well known than him tho as Modi is the patron of Berserkers, the source of berserker rage.

She seems pretty beaten already. She just took a Fragarach right through the heart. I don't think she's coming back from that.

She's already dead. Defeating her was just to save her, fragrach could have finished any time she tossed a thunder bolt.

Beat her to death? She'd have to stop using lightning entirely to avoid it.

They don't really need a True Name Release in this case, just Be a shooting Divine Lightning at them. That alone would give Fragrach enough power to kill her.

Fragrach is a defensive Gae Bolg. It can one shot Servants with Battle Continuation.

And Bea just took one to the heart.

I mean, there ARE ways to "survive" Fragarach. If she has battle continuation, she could most likely get up and keep fighting for a while. I am sure there are other ways to outlive it.

However right now all signs do point to Beatrice being dead, complete with seemingly incoming flashback.

Considering Beatrice is dead in the first place can't this construed as freeing her soul?

Kuro brought the topic to Shirou that Sakura is too far gone as well.

Basically it is a similar situation to a certain catgirl in Fate Apocrypha. Good thing there is no such card here as the host and heroic spirit would resonate so much due to goals.

Considering what Fragarach does and the fact the Beatrice is taking to time to relfect on Julian after getting hit (potentially setting up a flashback), I'd say she's dead after that.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she's going to die too. Unless Illya pulls off a miracle at the last minute, but I think Hiroyama wants to take the story in a darker direction.

. They tried to do it Illya's way if possible. But once the truth about her card's identity was revealed that went out the window. It's a hard blow for Illya who really wanted to achieve everything she set out to do. In terms of a plan it worked pretty well. Beatrice wasn't the type to hold back and play it cautious at the very end.

Pretty sure Beatrice isn't coming back from this. While Bazett didn't rip a massive hole through Beatrice, that was a pinpoint shot that went right through her. Sounds like she was another doll just like the rest that Shirou wiped out during that flashback arc. Extremely powerful, but very much dead before this fight even started.

At most maybe we'll have Illya getting a last conversation with Beatrice before she is completely gone. But for now seems like we're transitioning back to the other fight, which of course is not going according to plan. Not sure if they have a great backup plan in mind like they did with Bazett sealing the fight if Illya coulldn't settle it.

How? Ilya is out of juice and Bazett hardly has anything left either. Even without using her noble phantasm Beatrice has more than enough power to take both of them on.

Unless you're Emiya Shirou or Heracles getting shot through the heart is usually pretty fatal.

Beatrice is not coming back from this.

I meant at the start of the fight. Bazzet could have Frag'd her any time she fired off the lightning, but without it Medusa!Berserker would have just ripped her head off.

Bea never really had a chance.
