If he did make that change in it, that is. And then the translation on LN-reading sites that Volume 5 might be on would also have to be fixed. As well as other Volumes in which errors were fixed, of course.

Way too much of a time paradox unless we follow the multi-dimensional timeline theory where going back in the past creates a different timeline and anything you do in that timeline affects that timeline only not the one you came from. And the different timeline is already altered upon you going back in time and interfering. The way it works in Mirai Nikki and DBZ.

If god of the bible is alive then he's a coward just like Chuck (Mr G)from Supernatural. And it wouldn't make sense for the balance to be totaly screwed, it would lean in favor of the angels and other beings of light. But it didn't. He's dead as far as we know.

I would be funny though because if you think about it, The Longinus Spear chose Issei's vision over Cao Cao and it is supposed to have the will of god. So God might not actually be much different than Issei. lol

It was said that, just at that time, due to Cao Cao's actions being as they were and him kind of twisting his beliefs and ambitions to do stuff like getting Medusa's eye, God's will decided to reject his ambitions and choose Ise's beliefs instead. It had nothing to do with whether or not God would normally side with Ise or not.
