Maintenance on 16 Sep. The new DD will be a drop in the latter half of the regular maps. I guess this means she'll appear in maps 4~6?

So regarding Preemptive ASW... Which destroyers can actually do it?
I never seem to get up to 100 not even with Akatsuki. She has 64 Base ASW on 94 and can get 28 more from Type 3 gear, so she'd only sum up to 94 despite having one of the higest ASW stats of all destroyers. Or do DD have to be Max level to have enough ASW for it?

If you have at least two Type 4 sonars any DD with ASW of above 68 can do it. If not, then you need at least 72. I think there was a link here back when the system was introduced with a progression, but anyway, no, you don't need maxed out DDs for that.

Obviously Asashio Kai Ni 丁 can do it easily. Aside from that just going down my list of non-maxed out ones:

Hatsuzuki (90) - 68
Teruzuki (91) - 68
Libeccio (75) - 70
Vernyi (91) - 70
Asashimo (93) - 76
Satsuki Kai Ni (90) - 76

Ushio is also close with 66 at level 80.

With Akatsuki you've chosen a wrong girl. At 99 she maxes out at 67. Unless you'll marry her she'll never be able to do it.

A foreign carrier is in the works.
The next K2 is a 5,500t CL.

1. So her debut is voicing Warspite based on what you said. Okay, that somewhat explains why we have never really heard the voice before.
2. Mind giving info? I can't really have a good guess since I don't research on the ships... (Some said it is Uranami since I just researched on wikipedia and she sank at the channel between Masbate and Panay.)
3. Please be a better carrier...

Kuma class: Kuma, Tama, Kiso, KTKM, Ooi
Nagara class: Nagara, Isuzu, Natori, Yura, Kinu, ABKM
Sendai class: Sendai, Jintsuu, Naka

The new DD should be Uranami, as the latest official tweets mentioned that the newcomer is in the same destroyer squadron (DesDiv 19) as Ayanami. The Comptiq news further confirms it.

I'm okay with the Nagara and Bear classes myself, especially the Yura sub-class. If ABKM is a hint of what the devs have in mind for them, we might see some really unique K2s from these ladies =3

I'd assume it to be an Allied one. The rest of the German and Italian carrier conversion projects didn't even progress past the stage of the installing of a flight deck. Wouldn't surprise me though if after a period of speculation which US or British carrier it's going to be it ends up being yet another useless one in the French Béarn.

And Uchida Shuu... I'll make sure to follow her activities and cheer her on from now on like I did with Touyama Nao. I hope she will get some cool roles in animes (and games) in the future!

That'd be the ultimate troll. Not just for the players, but also the French who may have prefered the Richelieu as first French kanmusu.

Assuming they have decided that Uchida Shuu's English is up to the task, and assume that they'll keep her doing British English rather than American....HMS Ark Royal or HMS Victorious. Both are famous. Both were involved with Bismarck. Ark Royal has the legendary name status. Victorious was everywhere in the war.

If we assume an American carrier....well there are may options, but only one true prize: Enterprise.

While the Essex-class ships are very impressive and should outshine about all the Japanese carriers, it was the Yorktown and Lexington-class ships that saw the worst of the battles. Hornet is mentioned since some of the destroyers took pictures of her when they attempted to take her as a prize ship, but were forced to finish scuttling her. Saratoga survived, was paired with Victorious for the first part of 1943 while Enterprise was out of action and there was no one else left. Sara was also with Prinz and Nagato at Bikini for the nuclear tests. Lexington was the first of the fleet carriers sunk and was in action with Zuikaku, Shokaku, and Shouhou at Coral Sea. Yorktown was the legend for her ability to survive damage and kept coming back....until finally sinking at the end of the Battle of Midway. And Enterprise of course is the legendary survivor with the most honors in the US Navy. Was involved in almost every major battle in the Pacific. Survived the war, and has given her name to now two carriers, a space shuttle, and now a similarly legendary fictional starship who's show turned 50 today.

I hope if its enterprise she will at least have stats making her worth the bother when they decide to make her a dropship (r@ge inb ound) unlike Aquila.

On that mark I will just assume its Victorious or Ark Royale then I won't be disppointed if it isn't Enterprise. To begin with I will likely be disappointed if its Iowa english, after having heard Warspite, anyhow

Hard to say if I should hope it to be one of the my higher leveled up ( Yura, Nagara, Natori and Tama) or one of the lower one (Kuma and Kinu), getting a good reason to finally level it up.
