Remember how Yuuki warned Asuna about Kirito being too immersed in the virtual world? I don't think that warning was meaningless. I think Yuuki was suggesting that Kirito might eventually leave Asuna behind because the virtual world feels more like reality to him than the actual real world. He's too immersed in the virtual world in a fundamental level.

That makes me think Kirito will never have a normal life. He'll always be more drawn to the virtual world, and that's why an artificial intelligence like Alice would probably make for a better partner for him than Asuna could ever be.

Well, serious candidate could also simply refer to the fact that Alice is the only one of the girls who would actually try to interfer with their relationship. The others don't want to risk their friendship with Asuna over it or have simply given up. If Alice is the only one trying, then she's naturally the most serious competitor - regardless of whether she's actually competiton.

I know that this topic has been brought up quite a long time ago but I wish to confirm whether Sugou did rape Asuna in the light novel. I was talking with two other people who have read the novels and they said that she was indeed raped in ALO.

I then read that particular chapter and somehow, it did not occur to me that Sugou raped her? I thought that Sugou just tore off the top of her dress, touched her, and licked all over her face. DID HE REALLY RAPE HER?

Secondly, one reader actually said that Sugou gave Asuna oral sex. This isn't true, right... If it's true, I'm going to blast my head off...

I hope you guys can give me an answer. It's just really unsettling for me......

So, i have only seen the two seasons for sao.. But i have read some spoilers here, and hope to have them confirmed. What happens between kirito and Asuna later on in the novels? They seemed to have the true love thing going for the two seasons, but then i also read that Kirito falls into a coma and Asuna apparently doesn't give a shit and this new girl (Alice) takes care of him. Is there a reason for Asuna's absence? Man, i like Asuna and would seriously hate for this to end with either no girl chosen or someone else after what i've seen.

If there are negative shit like dwindling love or silly love triangle behind what i asked, then i probably won't even bother ever reading the series. Asuna and Kirito are absolutely a major part in why i loved the two seasons.

Errr... It's not a question of Asuna not giving a shit, because she does... Hell, she turns the world upside down trying to find Kirito's location before that happens. Kirito's ingame, while Asuna isn't. That's one way to summarize it.

You should read some of the WN summaries to have some insight.
