Quote:
Attracted by the warm light of the sun in spring, I was walking aimlessly on the streets when I was suddenly kidnapped. Eh? What? No no no, what are you guys doing!? ...By the time I recovered, I found myself in the recording studio of a broadcast program for some reason.Just as I was spacing outhttp://baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=Aidoru_Wa_Tsukkoma_Reru_No_Ga_Suki !:Volume_1_Prologue, a young beautiful girl entered the studio...My, my gosh! Isn't she the voice actor idol, Otonashi Madoka that I have been worshiping all my life...Eeeeeh!! So, the two of us went with the flow and started the broadcast program...but what would happen to my destiny!?A exhilarating comedy bustling with excitement will unfold with the impact of raging currents here and now!
Some illustrations are also now for the first volume.

So yeah, the Prologue chapter is out now if anyone is curious. And I decided to give this a try after seeing that the series has a bit of comedy in it.

I think they mistook him for some light novel author who was supposed to give a radio interview about his novel getting an anime adaptation in which the idol is the main heroine's seiyuu.

Note that this series is already complete, with 10 volumes.

I've only read a the first 2 volumes, though the premise requires a suspension of disbelief, the direction of the novels is pretty interesting.

Of course, there is the typical 'road to being a voice actor' plot, but seeing it presented from the perspective of a male character sets it apart (i.e. male protagonist's path to being a VA).

I've read all 10 volumes. It's a really nice read, but it goes more of a character development kind of story, largely between the MC and Otonashi. The MC gets a temporary job in the media/va/idol industry due to the misunderstanding starting from volume 1, and basically explores him developing and growing as a person, as well as discovering what he wants to do in life. Outside of that, a large part is regarding his relationship with Otonashi (the cover girl), and ups and downs in their relationship, as well as how these problems are resolved.

So tldr, there are no harems and shit like that. The MC is a normal guy.

Odd question, is the relationship between the two more of a friendship or is it leading to something much more?

It develops into a romance. He confesses around volume 5 iirc? Things don't really go smoothly right after because one's an idol, and the other well, isn't.

Sound really interesting! (No harem no ecchi eh!! ^^)
May I ask to who already read all or most of the volume if they can tell me if the Voice Actor industry is depicted in a quite realistic way?
Thanks
