For someone with no moral compass, it's closer to an athlete giving up on the sport they love to play the one they have talent for. Or maybe giving up on playing for the team they want and joining its rival.

You once again brandish his dream like it will absolutely keep him from going astray. It's not uncommon for children to have dreams. But then we have to make compromise with reality. How many accountants wanted to be astronauts? And how many criminals dreamed of going to jail? I already explained how that could happen to him. How the way to "n°1 hero" might be closed to him.

What sets Bakugou apart is his obsession. So how do you think he'll spend his frustrated energy? You really think he'll accept being a third rate hero? Or get out of the business altogether?

The assumption that he will end up as a third-rate hero is basically groundless with his abilities.

Even high ranking heroes have commented on his potential and natural talent already, and he just placed first in this competition, even if the win wasn't 100% to his liking.

People are acting like having a bad personality and being the #1 hero are mutually exclusive traits. This setting treats being a hero like a career path, and it seems only exceptions like Deku really strive to be a hero just for being a hero.

Heck, Mayweather is the best boxer in the sport and he has a terrible personality/personal life, doesn't stop him from being considered the best and having a ton of fans.

If I'm not mistaken, Icyhot's hero name is "Shot" (guess it comes from his actual name, Shouto), while Iida's brother, who says that he's unable to move his legs, decides that his little bro's handle should be his actual name, Tenya. So yeah, looks like these two may be using their actual names as their hero alias....

Heh, I wonder how much more.... explosive the Bakugou debate will get NOW?

Well, according to a Chinese forum, Iida's brother actually lets him use the hero name Ingenium, since he can no longer uses his legs (poor guy...).

As for Deku, the chapter actually ends with him gaining ONE vote from the Hero Draft, leaving a surprised All Might wondering whom might this person be...

Seems like there are some extra pages in volume 4, specifically in the part when Kaminari vs Ibara is going to start. In the weekly chapter release, we already see Kaminari in short circuit derp mode while binded by Shiozaki. In the tankobon, there are 2 extra pages before that showing the two getting introduced and Kaminari getting his game face on to finish the match. Cue derp mode in the next page.

Oh and according to the character bios included in each volume for this volume, TetsuTetsu has the same birthday as Kirishima. Talk about more things they have in common.

Count me in for guessing that it was Endeavor who nominated Deku. I'd just find that terribly amusing for some reason. Also, I think "Baron BOOM-vier" would be the perfect name for Bakugou.


Mineta was still my favorite part of the chapter, though. And honestly, I wish that "Hero who gives a Pluck" would be his hero name over "Grape Juice", heh. Also, dat Midnight.....

Bakugou's butt-hurt sustains me.

I really enjoy these one off break chapters that seem to happen in between arcs and while I honest to God can't imagine a name like Deku ever actually sounding cool in any context, cheesy as it was I did like how Midoriya came to the decision to use that has his hero name. add Uraraka's face at the bottom left panel I just went "D'aaaaaw".

But Idia man... he's gonna be in some pain for a while I take it.

You are late but I am pretty sure we are talking how would the citizens react in Bokuhero universe.

As for Bakugou's name, It should be "Rage 24/7" or "Butthurt". It fits him greatly.

As for Deku's name, I actually like it. It is simple yet meaningful especially when we knew his past.

As for those "xxx man", they need to be more creative on that, but then it is 100x better than those who simply use their real name though.

It's simple, effective, and fits his style and personality.

Also, in regards to those whining about what a raging ass he is, Spiderman's a complete dick when he's out fighting crime. Peter Parker has a smart mouth and is constantly spewing snark at his enemies.

Hell, Terry Mcginnis in Batman Beyond beautifull shows how effective Spiderman style snark can be in battle when he takes on Batman's greatest foe.

Bakugou is smart enough that I believe he'll eventually develop towards this style. Yeah, he'll still be a hothead, he'll still blast the hell out of things, and there will probably be collateral damages, but I've no doubt that he'll still always be some kind of hero.
