As much as I don't want a chapter dealing with him, I do agree with you that having Kouki's POV (or at least his trial) might shed some light on some things. I mean, thanks to the latest chapter, it just makes me really question his attitude (truthfully, it's making me agree with some posters stating that Kouki might not be as "kind" and "helpful" as he's stating). It really does seem really baffling when most (or just plain all of them) of the troubles/misfortunes he has is basically his fault and yet he blame others (or something that he doesn't like/agree with). It really doesn't help his case when his "childhood friend's" (Shizuku) trial just (might) make a crazy person's statement (Eri) actually be true.

The instant that I pass through the school gates, I’m stabbed by unpleasant stares.

They’re the threatening glares from the Yuusuke Fanclub.

Over half the girls in this school belong to the Yuusuke Fanclub, and in fact, the girls who come to school with Yuusuke each morning belong to this club.

That Saki girl was probably promoted by the management yesterday.

However, Yuusuke the man in question is ultra dense, so he has no idea this club even exists.

Of course, he has no idea about the girls’ love either.

Even though they’re approaching him that obviously.

As a result, even though they stick to him like glue he doesn’t dislike it, and thinks of it as skinskip, and I’m sick of Yuusuke as a result.

If he wasn’t my childhood friend, I would want nothing to do with him.

But, for some reason Yuusuke has always followed me around, and worries about me for some reason.

The result of that, is this.

I’m being bullied by the Yuusuke Fanclub of this school.

That’s the reason that I always bring my indoor slippers home with me.

Because of various things that have happened to me since primary school, I absolutely never leave my belongings at school.

Yuusuke hasn’t noticed this at all.

The members of the fanclub put in effort to cleverly hide this, and the teachers don’t know about this either.

More important than anything, I don’t discuss this with the main cause, and even if I did it’d be pointless.

This is him we’re talking about, so,

“There’s no way they’d do something like that. They’re all nice girls, you know?”

is obviously going to be his reply!

In the past when I told him to do something about his harem,

“Eh? I haven’t created a harem or anything, you know? And they’re all nice girls, so I’m sure you’ll get along with them too, Chii!”

is what he told me, refreshingly.

This guy can’t doubt people, so he doesn’t see the things around him at all.

And he really doesn’t notice his fans’ dreamy and passionate gazes, or the jealous gazes from a certain number of the boys either.

I seriously can’t handle it anymore.

Yeah, sometimes my head sort of switched Yuusuke with Kouki and I didn't even notice a difference.

The battlefield of love produces many casaulties, chief amongst them being the childhood friend character. Though now that Shizuku has finally been promoted to official heroine status, it will be interesting to see whether she continues supporting Kouki as she has been up until now or if like Kaori she starts devoting the majority of her attention toward winning over Hajime. Considering her intentions of declaring her feelings to the other heroines after they meet up again, which is basically the entry requirement for Hajime's party, it's probably safe to say that Shizuku intends to stick with Hajime even after this labyrinth regardless of what Kouki and company end up doing.

Because as a life progresses I tend to enjoy reading about popular guys from the very beginning more then underdogs who suddenly moves into spotlight and become popular.
I mean c'mon - why every popular character from real world when appears in another world always fails? It's not their fault that they were popular. They do not deserve to be blamed.

If you are simply not looking for relationship then you'll simply ignore any girl. At school especially. And you look into your memory maybe you'll found the cases when from the current point of view you were ignoring girls' flirting with you

Choose to defend means that you know the truth and decided to stick with enemy side.

But in that case...It's the same as when you friend came to you and told your other friend calls his friends from time to time and beat him up. You never heard about it, you asked them - "no! never happened!". Asked other people - "No! Never seen!". And etc. It's eternal loop until there appear a chance to caught them.

Because that's what both Kouki and this Yuusuke did: Only listen to the girls and ignore the childhood friend's words - They're bullying me/making my life hard.

Unfortunately, I have to agree that the MC didn't complain to her childhood friend about it (and I can't make a statement of Ichika since I haven't read/watched the series, I stopped after the first fight). It's still irritating about how some of these types of characters' attention span/ perception is so shocking low. Especially given that the hints so obvious that even a kindergartener will recognizes them. It's this type of crap that ( if it leads to certain situations, especially in the department Kouki and Yuusuke) half (or even 1/10) efforts of trying to fix the problem isn't going to help them.
