Allison, Lillia and Treize (Light Novel)
I didn't see a thread for this series so I thought I'd start one. I guess I'm really curious to know if anyone has seen copies of this series in English.
I hear they did a bad job on the anime and since I liked the anime I'm almost guaranteed to enjoy the novels. Any idea? |

Japanese. Allison was one of the first prose fiction books in Japanese that I read through all the way, actually. I should probably give them another run-through before I read Lillia and Treize. Could probably get through them faster this time, too.
My feeling on the anime is that it captured the spirit of the books fairly well, but much of the books' world-building, the obsessive technical detail, and plotting sort of fell by the wayside... To say nothing of idiotic censorship. |

It seems that Untuned Translations has been translating these novels into English. They're currently on semi-hiatus with sporadic updates, but have completed Allison and are about two thirds of the way through Lillia and Trieze.
