Everyone, the Syosetsuka ni Narou Discussion Thread is not a light novel recommendations thread. This is the Light Novel Recommendations thread here. Any further discussion about novels other than Syosetsuka ni Narou will result in deleted posts and infractions given. This off-topic discussion has gone far too long.

This is a bit confusing since I'm talking about the WN version of those novel while mentioning that they also do have LN but all my impressions come from reading the WN, not the LN.

I can't tell how much satisfaction it gives me knowing that I know a few good WN nobody else does. (or hasn't linked)

-The first two are part of the same story but with a POV change between the first and the second. The first is possibly my favorite WN ever.

Summary: Mediocre (self-proclaimed) schoolgirl Yuki Inoue. You will die by saving a girl that one day has become bounced likely to track. I was Shutting eyes thought to be dead, but had been incarnated in a different world Become a baby When you wake up. I swear to become happy what now, but ... eh? Mother is killed? What? I devil? What kill people? No no no ... the time being the hell free to live and run away from! I enjoy the different world life in such a feeling. It is to the enjoy it but not go too much work ...?
(It is sweet setting because * of haphazard. jewels sudden deployment opportunism. Basic serious, people also die. I am glad when Kudasaru went to see to kill time if it is good.)

Impressions: 50 chapters but each one is long. The MC is OP but not broken. Very strong feels. This story follows the devil as she travels around the world helping people while waiting for the hero to be summoned and kill her.

勇者稼業は思いの外重い=(GT)Brave occupation is beyond expectation heavy

Summary(POSSIBLE SPOILERS): Hiiragi-kyoyoru 16-year-old, virgin. Fairly ordinary Japanese high school students in ---, it is not. My hair is blonde, blue eyes. I have received heavily influence of Italian mother. Well, because his father's Japanese, I've been living in Japan. One day, when I holed up in the room, I was sucked into the glittering magic. --- I'll brave? Devil subdue? What? What are you doing talking about? And Satan former fellow of the brave members? Good man? Darkness fallen? ...... What the heavy story. I in a little load is too heavy!

Impressions: Continuation of 魔王アルリリアの報われない日々 and picks up where the feel train left off. shorter at 25 chapters but the length of each is good. Standard hero summon but with the twist that devil he has to kill is seen as a hero.

北の砦にて=(GT)At the north of the fort

Summary: Previous life the Japanese girls. Now the world is snow spirits of child fox. And such hero, Tan heartwarming exchange with stalwart knights of the north of the fort.

Impressions: Plot? Character development? Action? Screw that! Fluffy is justice! 25 heartwarming chapters of small fluffy animals, and later on Kemonomimi. The perfect thing to soothe your heart after a really sad story. Definitely recommended.

Uplifting speech to the citizens in despair. Those are always great to read.

It's really taking the "zero to hero" approach to heart now.

Yes, but it goes in stages.
Once a certain point is passed with objective cleared, it sets a new "restart point".

The catch is, there's absolutely no way to go redo once that point is set, so any undesirable event that happened sticks. Which has caused much misery for the poor hero.

Cause I was looking for WN thread here that came from Narou but I can't seem to find a way to look for them....

Can anyone pass me a list of WN from Narou that have a thread here in animesuki...

Or can anyone add a Narou tag to stories from Narou....

Pretty much all the LNs with the title Web Novel are also from Narou.

The only 18+ novel that I like on syosetu because it has a good setting and the protagonist is an utter douchebag with a good mind set

The novel starts off with the company that the protagonist works for going bankrupt, so the protagonist shuts himself in his room for a week doing whatever he wants, unaware that zombies are now everywhere

After getting bitten by a zombie and gaining immunity instead of being infected, he goes around manipulating people by abusing his immunity without letting others know

This often leads to misunderstandings that he's a decent guy for risking his life out there, but in actuality is total scum

I like the novel enough that I might even translate chapter 1

Hahaha, the title says it all. Sounds like my cup of tea, there aren't enough zombie apocalypse stuff in Japan.

I'll read it later at work!

EDIT: eh, only a few chapters in and he already rapes a zombie. The protag is far out.

Yea, I almost dropped the novel at that point
Glad I stuck around for the second arc where the protagonist shows he has some intelligence and ability to plan ahead
