I laughed so hard when we got that part in the manga, but yeah, I don't see that happening in the anime. There's a couple of other scenes I don't think we'll be seeing either and I'm kind of glad for it.

As an anime viewer i will say this unexpected one went to my top three of this season, fresh plot, the interaction was funny, characters look nice and now i want to now more of those parasites.
how he saved that little girl reminded me of twilight.. and that dog, when he split his head, i was like "zomfg kill that demon".
Anyway, gonna keep watching this, 9.5/10

Wtf?!
This is a weird one.
Wow! Cool powers though!
This anime has lots of potential.
It's just interesting enough to not be too weird to handle.
Will give it a try!

Now that's what I call an eye-opening opening.

The show effectively straddles the fine line between amusing and horrifying. There wasn't a moment I wasn't creeped out by the stretchy symbiote that replaced Shinichi's hand but at the same time it was hilarious to watch him struggle as he tried to make sense of what became of his right hand.

What's freaky is that the hand's got its own vague sense of individuality and self- preservation. It was by sheer chance that the parasite failed to infiltrate Shinichi's brain and take over his body because his ears were plugged by earphones.

The weird out of place dubstep notwithstanding, I was hooked throughout the premiere. I can't wait to see what new horrors the new hand wreaks in Shinichi's life.

Okaay. Weird human transformation - check. Grotesque preview - check. Protagonist's hand is special - check. I sure hope Parasyte doesn't go Black Bullet's way.

Anyway, some Alien/Spiderman/Saya no Uta mix is weird, but still not grotesque enough to come across as inedible. Yuck, I'm watching it, yeah.

It established the main premise well. I find Migi's voice to be quite something too. And considering the violence, I think this is just the beginning like with that dog.... Yeah, I have good hopes for this now. Go Madhouse. __________________
