We got news?

I think it's pretty obvious they were going to go with the water skating, it's like the one aspect of canon all the different manga agree with. Quote:

What the hell...? Like, the first ship from Yayoi and Uzuki's class? What? I'm not upset, just surprised. No, really, was anyone ever asking for her? EVER? And what is the point? If you want a cheerful partner for Fubuki, why not Miyuki? Am I missing something here? Is this another "simple character" thing? Because Yuudachi doesn't strike me as plain and simple. Wait, was Fubuki's uniform always that short? Also, I think Yuudachi looks much better here than in the initial key image. Last edited by Requiem-x; 2014-08-03 at 09:40. |

Because it covers a very board base of fans, you have the moe enthusiasts, miltakus, ijn otakus, seiyuu otakus. Moreover the game is actually easy to play with little need to upkeep if you manage to jump over two big hurdles, getting an IP for the lottery AND winning the lottery. Language barrier is not much of a problem with wikis to check and applications such as Kancolle viewers. I feel that the KC fans are a little less elitist than the grognards in the Touhou fanbase (where hurling the word "secondary" as derogatory term for people who don't play the shmups is quite a common occurence, especially with the touhou western fanbase).
From a casual point of view, that jump of popularity can be compared to Minecraft, where their creators expected little and get caught in a tsunami. |

... Although I have to agree with some of guys. Was Fubuki's shirt ever that short? I also got a feeling that the skirts are shorter too. |

Also, there is -very- little points that actually promote war (the vast majority of the girls do not enjoy any fights), and there is actually a very few mentions of Japan. In fact, there is NO mention of "The Empire of Japan". Likewise, the allies are not even mentioned. The abyssal ships have only cues due to their weapon calibers, but past that, they don't even resemble to their actual counterpart. The only "somewhat" nippon banzai stuff in there is Hiryuu and Souryuu's headband. Past that, it has basically 0 political message behind it.
