Trigger's new series, an adaptation of Kota Nozomi's Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de, was just announced.

Artist is known for Hataraku Maou.

In the original novel series' story, the five members of the literature club awakened with extraordinary powers half a year ago. Although the members expected to be thrown into a world of super-powered battles (inou-battle) at their school, their normal daily routine continued. The synopsis confuses me. At least can someone who knows the source tell me what genre I can expect from this series? How much action, romance, harem, SOL can I expect?

This being Trigger's first LN anime is interesting enough, though the premise seems pretty darn wacky

I'm with teja208 in wondering exactly what kind of series this is. Is it like a battle-action romantic comedy? Or is there more emphasis on wackiness and comedy? Or is it a straight-up action series? Actually, all these elements in one series might just be perfect for Trigger's

^ Action/Comedy. A bit like Kill la Kill....same exaggerated action scenes without the COVERS but with more girls. More magic than Little Witch Academia. Judging by the first volume of the LN. Perfect for TRIGGER in my opinion.

Are we sure this is going to be a 12/24 episode series though? OVA?

Does anyone feel like this is going to be Kill la Kill but without some super serious plot? If it's going to be high-octane action comedy, it might work pretty well.

Edit: Some covers/pics. Also I found a korean fan translation of some pages. Yup, totally chuuni with a touch of Owain from Fire Emblem. =O

I'm excited for this. This will be the first LN adapted by Trigger, so here's to hoping they do a good job so they get more offers in the future. I wonder if this will help show a little of their definitive style that they put into things that they adapt.

I finished reading the first chapter of the manga adaption and it's unexpectedly better than I believed it would be. I admit I was a bit skeptical on Trigger doing this, but I think I can look forward to now. The powers are cool imo and the comedy suits my taste well.

Why do I heavily suspect the author used the wrong 'kei' kanji when dumping the title to a translator? or he just he used a shitty software for it?

At first I was feeling strangely familiar with the premise and then I remember reading the first chapter of the manga long ago

Looking forward to this, as well as the other great line-up for Fall!
