Its just a few jokes about masaki who does show up and seemingly play a big part in the 9sc. surely that can't be too bad.

But these scenes did happen in volume 13 based on what we got so far. Akane did call George and Masaki gay. Masaki did get trolled by miyuki and got rejected.

The problem was, we were staring to move towards shipping ramifications, as a result of the events of Volume 13 on future volumes. That was where we risked crossing the line into Off-topic territory.

There is still the 3rd year. They could compete in both Monolith and Steeplechase. If their identities are revealed it will be even better, Maya said 6 months right? But Miyuki will own everyone again excepted Ayako if they compete on the same game. But for the Thesis, given the tittle of the next arc it will be interrupted again. Tatsuya needs to solve the puzzle though so I guess it will also end in the 3rd year.

so in order to keep our sanity while waiting for the promised day,shipping war and any other way to divert our attention should be looked upon with indulgence.
by the way,flere821,if chap.3 had alredy been translated in chinese,you would have already reported to us,right?

If not, someone probably would have. Last I heard (or maybe I should say read), the chinese translation was going at a similar rate as the English one.

ie, slow as hell. Understandable because it's exam season over at China, so the guys/group who normally churn out a complete translation in 2 weeks is off studying instead of translating. The Bakatsuki version works off chinese versions as well AFAIK, so it'll be similarly slow.

That depends, does Tatsuya retain his handicap? Is it a fight to the death? If it is, there won't be anything left of the guy...

Unfortunately it seems this won't be happening anytime soon. Would have been interesting to see the 2 compete in 'Steeple Chase' though, what with both of them having military background and all.

The nature of this volumes 9SC gives 3rd high an advantage due to the school focus on combat related magic, but 7th high, known as '7th high of the seas' has an advantage in 'Rower & Gunner'.

1st high has a few members of the 'hundred families' and members of the 10MC. It seems like they'd be at a disadvantage this year without them, which makes it quite sad I think, since the other schools seem to be using rank and file students, aside from Masaki/George & Kuroba Twins

Anyway, speaking of parasites, what kind of magic were the 'Parasite Dolls' able to use in this volume? And why did the management of the 9SC easily agree to changing the content of the competitions when there are already issues regarding the military and magic highschools? wouldn't that create even more bad public opinion?

Miyuki is so tired she needs 'recharging', and relaxed made coffee for Tats. Tats allowed Miyuki to sit next to him that night, and Miyuki clung to Tats so much the maid (I forgot how to say her name in English ) felt embarrassed to watch but she has a duty to stand guard A incoming electronic mail allowed the maid to escape the scene, and she returned to report the sender address was hacked to show 'no sender'. Tats took a look at it, and while it fits Kyouko's MO and the encryption fits the type 101 battalion use, he's not ruling out it was sent by someone else (eg Yotsuba) or it was a trap for it to blow up in his face. The mail included info on the Parasite-dolls. The Shiba siblings planned on visiting Yakumo the next day, and Tats ordered the maid to send this info to Maya's butler as well, with the best encryption they have. __________________ SAO Alicization WEB version Summary links

They were racing to develop a product that would be a device that was a technical breakthrough in instruments that assisted the activation of Magic. Half a year before, Rozin Magicraft had put the world’s first completely thought controlled model but, FLT’s new product was more advanced product. Naturally, Rozin and FLT’s products were based on completely different concepts. Rozin’s CAD was a personal machine with instruments that were manipulated by psion waves inserted into it and it was a rather large model for a handheld device. In contrast, the completely thought controlled CAD, FLT developed was a specialized device that reduced ‘the activation sequence a CAD used to output nonsystematic magic’ to one simple function. Instead of the activation sequence that supported the desired magic outputted by the most advanced traditional CAD that was manipulated by fingers, <!---page 127--->the device materialized the concept that operated the nonsystematic magic. FLT’s completely thought controlled model came with pairing software designed to work with another CAD which the software had been installed in so that they would work together, there were huge advantages to being able to use the device you were accustomed to working with in that manner. At least, that was how Research Division Three read the situation. The pairing software covered eighty percent of the Cads that had been put on the market in the last five years regardless of whether they were general purpose or specialized models. Because it could be manipulated by psion waves alone, this new product should overcome the borders of brands and create a large demand for it as a supplementary product. Today was the day it underwent the final test to become a finished product, if no problems were discovered then they would begin arrangements to launch the commercial model. However, there were two points where it differed from the familiar. The first was that the CAD switches were not being touched by the hands. And the other one was that a small medal shaped device was dangling on a thin chain from the necks of the testers. The disk could be concealed underneath clothes; it was three cm in diameter, six millimeters thick and had an artificial silver colored finish. This was the completely thought controlled CAD. On the monitor that was applying a process to make the psion light visible, the output condition of the medal shaped CAD and the testers’ psions as they were drawn out by the activation sequence was shown. Tatsuya watched one of the testers that was being shown on the monitor through his power to observe the information body and the activation sequence produced from the medal on the chest as the tester’s psions changed to manipulate the magic sequence, and watched as the psion waves converged into a narrow point and pinpointed the switch buttons on the bracelet worn on the left arm and were absorbed. While CAD buttons had electric switches, there was an induction stone antenna installed that received psion signals. This antenna which was an already installed type of switch that did not need touching, it directly interacted with psion instead of being manipulated by fingers, however, users who were unfamiliar with psion manipulation unfortunately often activated the wrong activation sequence and the probability that the CAD would itself recognized the mistake was not very high. <!---page 129---> This completely thought controlled CAD allowed even magicians not well versed in psion manipulation to correctly indicate the activation sequence, therefore the concept would be manifested without the activation of the wrong sequence. For that purpose, the plan Tatsuya and his team had adopted was that the psion wave absorbed by the induction stone antenna pinpointed the nonsystematic magic to manifest. The activation sequence to invoke the magic used magic to produce it. Certainly that was circuitous way but, because it was best to use a simple structure to operate the CAD so the burden on the magician would almost always be low enough to ignore. On consideration of the matter, compared to the merit of correctly indicating the activation sequence, the circuitousness of the method was trivial.
