So...does anyone else think that Naotsugu has a chance with Marielle?

Naotsugu doesn't have a chance with anyone until he goes back into the closet again with his pervertedness.

What i want to see is a combat sequence focusing on him. In many MMO's that i've played when something goes wrong (extra adds are pulled, the healer dies, DPS stands in fire) a lot of the time its up to the tank to do something about it. But so far in the series it seems like Naotsugu is a simple immovable wall. He first attracts attention, pulls threat with his taunt, and then sits there. I would like to see a fight where someone sneaks up on shiroe or serara and everyone else is too busy to handle it so Naotsugu has to fight a battle on two fronts. ... if you couldn't tell i love tanking in MMORPGs

What do you think Naotsugu's occupation in real life is? He said in ep 1, IIRC that he doesnt work with pretty woman.

The answer to the first poster: yes. Naotsugu has a way of attracting clerics. And yes, that wasn't a pun.

As Soujiro himself says, he's a harem character.

Naotsugu however is the goofy big brother figure. It's harder for him to attract ladies, but yeah, because he and Marielle have matching personalities they eventually click together.

Soujiro didn't just attract those healers. He also has lots of admirers that follow him when he make his own guild.

Plus Souji is a likable character.

Out of all teh DTP members. He probably enjoys the most and really act like a child in wonderland when apocalypse happen.

This is exactly what I'd like to see as well. I'm a tank first, as well, when playing any sort of game. As a warrior, the show is basically just treating him as a way ot let Shiroe/Akatsuki/Nyanta show off to the reader or viewer. He's supposed to be a long time veteran, so I'd like to really see his skills on display for once, since he's my favorite character.
