She has stealth blade skill and a tracker sub class. Stealth Blade receive massive damage when attacking someone from behind. Like a backstab skill. So she is probably proficient in hiding and attacking from behind. Just look at the battle in Susukino where she dealt with the healers and magic users form the shadow.

Agreed. Although, I would like Shiroe and Akatsuki to be a couple. I don't see it happening yet until Akatsuki drop or tone down her RP.

well..currently she is thinking him as her savior, because of the gender fiasco + feeling comfortable with the current situation, it will take some time to get out of the mindset...

P.S : i wonder how is she feeling stuck in the male body in the apocalypse...toilet...and such

We need some background info on her. Nureha is the tragic heroine, there is even a bit of info about Minori but cannot recall anything about Akatsuki. As a result, she feels rather uninteresting

The background of Akatsuki might be just being uninteresting, given part of her memories shown in novel 6. Most of the notable backgrounds are mentioned in novel 3, I think.

She don't have those dramatic backgrounds like Touya+Minori or Nureha, but those background is enough to give her some flesh and explain how she feels differently in a game world, and at the current hang out. It mostly comes down to being cute and tiny, and wants some proper acceptance.

One thing about Akatsuki is she actually has a fairly serious inferiority complex.

One factor contributing to this is her appearance and what it has brought onto her. Akatsuki really is as she looks now; loli despite her age. Her growth pattern IRL can simply be summed up as follows:

Grade school = looks like grade schooler
Middle school = looks like grade schooler
Higher school = looks like grade schooler
Collage = Yay! Finally gets to look like a.... middle schooler.........

There were no lack of admirers but these were people with, ehem, special tastes. What's worse is that the only serious confession she has received so far was during her first year in collage, from a middle schooler because the chap mistook her for someone of his own age. Naturally she turned him down, but the shock was so bad that it sent her to bed with fever.

We might think a girl looking young and/or loli is cute but to Akatsuki, it's a nuisance and constant source of humiliation (even her own younger sister treats her like a younger sibling). For as long as she remembers, she has been treated like a cute mascot or cuddly toy, a treatment that persists even now (we're looking at you, Henrietta

), which frustrates her tremendously. Because of her childish appearance, it was hard to find anyone take her seriously, to treat her like an adult. It didn't help that her current rival-in-love is a real middle-schooler, which makes it look as if she's pitting against a fellow loli.

Her sole consolation, after coming to this world, was found in her skill as an Adventurer/Player; as a competent level 90er, it should have been enough to convince others to treat her with some respect. Unfortunately ever since the trip to Susukino, she was gradually forced to acknowledge that even as a level 90er, she was hardly anywhere near the real elites like Shiroe, Naotsugu and Nyanta. Even though she has taken pride as Shiroe's protector, she had to acknowledged that her abilities were hardly at the level where she could truly support Shiroe in a real crisis. This led her to see herself a "fake", making claims without the means to back them to the end.

Now this looks like someone who's thinking herself into a corner but I think it highlights Akatsuki's character really well. Perhaps a common factor between her and Nureha is that deep down, both of them are insecure individuals who look onto Shiroe as their lifeline and support.

Actually in volume three, Akatsuki realised that she could do more for Shiroe other than just being his private ninja, but she didn't know how to at that time and pushed the issue to the back of her mind. It might be a case of complacency (no rivals at that time) but methinks it's most probably because she simply doesn't know how to handle the matters of her heart.
