The Anime left out the scene regarding that.
Jean made his decision when the corpses were disposed of so after he found Marco. They completely skipped it and went to Eren being locked up. Not the first time they skipped an event, also did so during training. |

Mikasa is good but not quite yet. She's good in solo and all. But to see the whole picture as a team and formation etc Levi has much more experience than her. Levi can talk up to the commander level and not Mikasa.

Can you prove that behind the scenes our governments don't do exactly the same? Taking the cash, doing lausy jobs, sometimes taking total control of the citizens and "partying" all the time? Attack on Titan is supposed to be one gigantic satire about the real world. Or am I the only one who noticed that?

Ep.14
Good episode. Not much action, new op that hints of a female titan with big boobs to replace the MOE Titan Also the recon team finally gets Eren. Mikasa's face was precious when Eren was getting the beat down from Levi. Either way it's a 7/10.

Still Can't See. Night Before the CounterOffensive - Part 1
I cannot be biased against the opposition forces at Eren's inquisition.
Living on the edge of extinction, death, and fear takes a devastating toll on one's mind that it literally makes one to lose his or her capacity to think critically and see all the big picture ahead. That is the kind of fear and biased opinion directed against Mikasa when she provided further evidence for Eren's support; Mikasa a titan under disguise? Not likely and possible. But like Levi I can be biased against those pigs who conveniently spout nonsense without proof of support. Those who have never been into the battlefield to see truly for themselves the carnage that Titans are capable of should just shut their traps and stop being a dead weight to the population; they should be the ones feed to the titans right away. Those supporting Eren for his Titan powers I would see that they aren't taking a gamble but making a leap of faith not that religions matters a bit. But, let just say that in the crapsack world of a hell that the characters are living in one becomes so accustomed to get crazy after all that doomsday slaughter, that he or she will eventually welcome the idea of all possible aternative options, including leaps of faith. Of course, that can be possible only if the characters survive enough to lead very long lives like Cl. Dot Pixis. The good thing that at this point in the anime I haven't even read or touch the manga, so I cannot say I'm dissapointed at all with Levi's performance against Eren in the tribunal. The man is a realist, and, yes, he wants to kill him more than anyone, but he's not that stupid or blinded either by fear or hatred to waste a potential weapons proposed by his comrade Erwin to use as tactical advantage and war potential. The heroes in this episode were mainly Levi and immediately supported by Erwin, whom played his trump card to influence Zackley to have Eren transferred right into the Survey Corps under Levi's command. Conclusion, this is how the anime staff takes off with the second season, and I say that the drama was very impressive for doing so. |
