You should probably mention what you use it to scan.
I use an Epson Perfection 2450, and have been very pleased with it (You can get them referbished for <200 USD). The 2400 runs about 99 USD referbished. Both of these have transparancy adaptors on them for scanning film as well as prints (the 2400 can scan 135 (35mm) film and the 2450 can do film upto 4"x9" in size). I recogmend both of these. However, these are the only current and inexpensive scanners that I have experience with. I also can suggest Microtek and Umax. I have had some less than delightful experience with some of the newer scanners from HP. |
