Oreimo2 Ep3 not working
Now as I understand, my laptop is already pretty bad for watching anime. It's an acer Aspire One 722, and the specs as i can see are here.
What just happened was that I opened up said episode on VLC, as I always do for .mkv files. VLC opens, and then..it just gets stuck. I'm left staring at a traffic cone. Furthermore, I realised it started to get extremely laggy, and upon opening task manager -> performance, CPU usage was maxed out at 100%. All the time. I've played most of my mkv anime without problems so long as they're 480p,so this is a first for me. Is it due to the episode, or should I break the bank to buy a new laptop? This is about 3-4 years old IIRC. |

Hello, Tusjecht.
As I almost always watch the .mkv and .mp4 files on VLC Media Player as well, I will try to help over here. First off, we need to find out if it is the player's fault or your computer's. What I want you to do is to try and run the episode using Dragon Player. (I think you will need KDE for that, though. Not certain, try it out.) If you do not have it yet, try obtaining it (If possible) and telling me the result. Thanks. Last edited by Haiprbim; 2013-04-21 at 12:49. Reason: Dragon Player may be for KDE only. |

MPC (Media Player Classic) with the CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack) solves all problems, quite literally. Most sub groups will actually state to use this combination on their FAQ pages, and the newest CCCP version has xy-vsfilter included, meaning subs will be rendered quicker and more efficiently. I'd recommend using those, as OreImo2 works perfectly for me.
G'luck.
