i don't game that much on my pc, but when i do, i don't use notepad..i just remember it all

I am hardcore, I use a knife and my arms ^^, joking.
But no, I don't really take notes about stuff, unless it involves some stupid mini quest where you have to work out an equation or puzzle.

Speaking of which, I also used a few sheets to map the zodiac dungeon in FFXII and B10 in Wizardry 8. Gotta hate all the backtrackin'...

Glee, it heartens me to know that most people (in AnimeSuki at least) still use good old pen(cil) and paper to enhance their gaming experience. Not many of my peers do, and I was wondering just how niche it is.

As for character backgrounds, I do that all the time for RPGs, and I have penned several "autobiographies" for some of my BG2 characters, but that's usually outside of actual game-time.
