Personally i loved hwo the plot moved slowly and they developed the characters. I enjoyed the show very much and i dont think its needed action.

I actually liked this series until the ending...Seem like either the company ran out of money or get rich and didn't give a crap anymore. I was also expecting longer battle...*sigh* That's what you get from a "half ass cheap ending".

Atleast the OST is still awesome!!!

I've been told that the dothack series is pretty good, (the anime, not the manga or games) can someone please tell me the order of the series as everywhere else i looked up includes the manga and the games. I know there is .Hack// Sign, .Hack//Roots, .Hack//legend of the twilight bracelet and a few people told me there were a few more, but i would just like to know which is the first series, second, third and so on. So if anyone can help i would really appreciate it. sjanna

is the timeline order

There's a couple of OVA's under the title .hack//Liminality that's IIRC set during the actual original .hack PS2 games which I think puts them right after .hack//Sign. Since they apparently deal purely with the out of game world, I don't know if that affects if you want to see them or not.

Actually, iirc, in later episode of .hack//Sign, there are cross overs from .hack//Liminality, so I''m guessing the both occur at the same timeline. There is 4 episodes for .hack//Liminality, btw.
