Hey guys, is there some Army of Two type Anime out there? You know...Two soldiers or mercenaries, kicking ass, helping each other out and stuff. Well..I take anything that comes close...

Noir maybe. They are more like two hitwomen, though. They are a pretty strong Team of Two.

Even a bit farther away from your criteria, Samurai Champloo maybe. The two compete, as well as helping each other out. Again, more like hitmen than mercenary.

Kiddy Grade, mercenaries work in pairs. Futuristic sci-fi theme.

Soul Eater, Meister and Weapon work as partners. Weapons are people who can transform into weapons and Meisters wield them. Only people who's souls can accept or resonate with each other can work as partners. One of the best anime this season.

If you don't mind women and old animes, Dirty Pair would fit your description. It's about two mercenaries working each other. Lots of comedy too.

Black Lagoon-well usually rock sits buy while levvy does the work but its gunplay etc
Getbackers-though they don't use guns etc they do have special powers, work for hire, kick ass, and other stuff
