Old Ninja Anime ?

I have been looking for 2 ninja Animes from sometime but I have never found any mention of it, (even on Animenfo unless I missed it)

These were aired at our local TV and was dubbed, this was in the 80s

The first Anime
-The main character Ninja name was Kabamaro (dont know if its a different name in the dubbed version or was it pronounced differently)
-The setting was mostly at a High school which he studied at
-His brother (maybe it was best childhood friend) was with the bad guys
-The Anime was very funny most of the time but had serious sides and fights to it
-Kabamaro's best food was Chowmein (or is it Ramen) and he used to eat it most of the time

The other Anime
main Character: Sasuki (again keep inmind this is from dubbed version)
he was short, all I remember is that there were magic balls where an eye appeared in them... and I think these used to change to become an evil character in the Anime
Also Sasuki's companian was a huge (kind of dumb) guy

Know it wont be easy but I would appreciate any help
Thanks

The only thing that comes to mind is 'Flame of Recca', but that's probably too well-known to be it.

i posted a thread about this anime before the forum crashed but due to my horrible writting skills it got ignored

the story line revolves about some teenage ninja called kavamaro or kabamaro who his grandfather, who taught him everything about the arts of ninja in a rather cruel and abusive way, die of chocking in some food in the first episode and then kabamaro get taken from the mountains to the city by his grandfather lover or something like that, and there he get involved in rival school wars in which his childhood friend hayate, who trained with him but was able to escape the mountain when he was young, is his rival.

it was one of the best animes i have ever scene i wish to get more info on it

Kyuven no it isnt i checked the summary its a different anime

I also wonder why those 2 animes aren't mentioned often in the anime community.
They are really good from what i remember, had us glued to the TVs when we were kids, but weren't really childish.. Both these anime, and a few others is what we watched growing up in the middle east. Someone in the early 70's to the late 90's decided to air about 100 different dubbed animes and that is why anime is really big here, most of the people here grew up watching them.

Would be awesome if a fansubbing group would grab a hold of these anime, I would love to have them subbed and in original Japanese audio.
