Positions(s): In order of need: Translator(s) ( Must be able to translate from Japanese to English): Greatly needed. No experience with fansub groups necessary. Translation Checker(s): Needed. Some experience necessary. Raw Provider: Able to provide us the raw within 12-24 hours of its public release. Contact: Genjo, Fauxbliss, or Dreamkeeper on the site and/or irc. (or just pm me here) Website:http://genjo-subs.net Projects: Kaibutsu Oujo, Kodomo no Jikan, Eva Rebuild Details: Right now, we have TLs to cover all three projects;however, we are still recruiting TLs. You don't need experience for the translator position, nor do you need to know how to use irc right away. We can arrange that. I'll let faux dive into what he wants to do with TLs. TLCs are our other major need. We need about two more iirc. As far as projects, you will probably be working on one of these three. Thats is all, have a nice day ^_^ Last edited by Isako; 2007-09-03 at 09:50. |

Translator for StrikerS speedsubs
Reposting with "corrected details"
Group: To be named Positions: Translators, Timers, QCers, Encoder(s) Project: Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS 18-> Contact: Daiz @ irc.rizon.net Details: This is an effort to provide StrikerS some speedsubs for the community starting from episode 18. What is needed the most is A TRANSLATOR (or translators), that can translate episodes from Japanese to English (or Chinese to Japanese, seeing that Chinese subs exists). The translator only needs to come up with a script, no need to think about how they would fit in the subs, as it's the editor's job (that is going to be me) to actually write the subs. The more timers the better, because with multiple timers I won't need to time everything alone as I can just throw parts of the subs for different people to time and finally just put it all together. Also, it would be appreciated if timers would have English as their first language, so they could also QC the subs they are timing. Encoder is not a necessarity, but it would be nice to get lower filesizes with better encodes than what the RAWs provide. So in short for now, if you are watching StrikerS RAWs/Chinese subs and can provide a script in English for episodes 18 and up, contact me ASAP! Last edited by Daiz; 2008-12-10 at 15:32. |

Position(s): Translator(s) (Japanese to English) and Timer(s) *Other positions may apply, but nothing is guaranteed if you do so*
Group: Name to be decided later Project(s): Lucky Star Radio Bangumi, *SOS Dan Radio Shibu Bangai Hen* E-Mail: echelonette [at] hotmail.com Details: *I'm mainly looking for a translator, as if it comes down to it, I can time. I'd prefer not to, as I actually dislike timing and I already plan on typesetting, editing, and encoding. The Lucky Star dramas are about 30 minutes per CD, with 3 CDs released at the moment. The SOS Dan (Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi) dramas are about an hour long, with 3 CDs released as well. Translators do NOT need experience in fansubbing, nor perfect English, as editors can fix your mistakes. Timers should have some type of experience, whether it be in a project you made or in a fansub group.* If you'd like to apply, just send me an email stating which position you'd like to apply for. (Edits from Sept 1st are in *asterisks*) Last edited by atlantiza; 2007-09-01 at 10:32. |

Isyutaru has gained another encoder, and a karaoke timer/styler.
Since we're gaining staff quick, I've decided to make it a translator's choice on a project. If there are any people that translate Japanese to English, and there's something you would enjoy to work on, we'd be glad to have you. Position's needed: Translators, Translation Checkers E-mail: isyutaru.fansubs@gmail.com |

Shin-Getter desprately needs timers, we have the next eight or so episodes ofthe classic 70's yuusha raideen translated and checked, and begging to be timed, but our entire timing squad has vanished. We're an established group that's had complete projects and have been around for some time, so if you want to learn to time or already know how to time, please e-mail PronsAmuro@gmail.com !!

Hello all.
My name is Chinomi. I have resently learnt the basics of timing & typesetting and am becoming more knowledgable with AegisSubs as each day passes. I've wanted to give something to the anime community for a long time, and I think I can finally make that wish come true by helping a group with their timing. I cannot yet do full on-sync karaoke timing. Pure dialogue I am fine with. As a beginner, I realize that I may not fully live up to the expectations most fansub groups have, but I hope you give me a chance to help the anime community as well as sharpen my skills as a timer. I have never worked with a group before, I have only done personal projects so I would need some direction on the variations between a personal project and a group project. I am ignorantly assuming I do the timing, then send the file off to an e-mail account but I could be completely wrong. Thank you for your time. If I have sparked your interest, please feel free to drop off an e-mail at IzumiRio@gmail.com . I will be sure to get back to you as hastily as possible Last edited by Chinomi; 2007-09-05 at 18:34. |
