Were those other ones than the one he got from his father then? Because I checked the novel just now and there Kirei receives all those extra command spells his father had when he finds his corpse...

And aside from that the normal end offers no kind of resolution to Illya's character arc at all. Which isn't really something you'd want for one of the most important characters in your movie.
