Does anyone who watches this anime know exactly how many episodes have been made so far? Also, has the series ended yet? And would you call it adventure, romance, and would you highly recommend it? (I want to know these things first before I start this whole new anime, being it's so long!)

Well, 1st off there's a forum for One Piece questions.

2ndly, uh, at this point there is 180+, but I don't think anyone has an exact number.

I think that 176 just aired. It's still running and so is the manga. It's an adventure anime. Has nice fights, good humor, and lots of enjoyable characters. I highly recommend it. It's one of my favorite series.
