Itsudatte My Santa! OVA

If my club's metteing were tomorrow instead of two weeks from tomorrow, this would have been a very opportune download. The question is -- is there anything I need to know before I watch it, will it still be remotely watchable in January -- and why does this schoolgirl believe she's Santa Claus and express surprise when people look at her like she's utterly nuts?

yah I know, but I've heard F-B's subs are in green and is very hard to read >.<" So I'd rather wait for AniSquad and Doremi's Fansubs...

Hmm, I didn't have any troubles reading Froth-Bite's subs.

This was definitely from Ken Akamatsu-sama, a lot of crazyness, pantsu shots and more or less naked girls. First two episodes were very funny. But... this was just two episodes? Even thought last episode ends with preview of next episode?

Actually, I saw the first episode and thought it was horrible. I thought that the first episode was too melodramatic and tried too hard to tug at those heartstrings. OMG! What was with those cliches?!

Spoiler:

Maybe, the second episode is better.

I feel like this is a special treat for all Akamatsu-sensei's fans. The story is really condensed into this 2 part OVA yet it has its hillarious moments.
Spoiler for OVA 1 and 2:

All in all, I think it's a series that fits the season and with all the humor it's perfect for all size and ages. The ecchi moments aren't that noticable (must be like that because I'm a pervert ) and the story doesn't pause.

Now, I really do wish this was a 4 part OVA deal.

Maho? I must have missed something... too much... too quick... my brain is bursting.... aaaaah

Please tell my what the heck this is about? Was there a series of Itsudatte my Santa? I feel dizzy right now, the story was too dense. All happened so quick! Gah!

Itsudatte My Santa was a quickie Manga done by Akamatsu. From what I've read, OVA 1's covered the whole deal in a way.

I found the first episode good though, I thought the story was semi-touching and hilarious, a peculiar anime as I might say

I just hope there will also be a third episode soon, I have the feeling that this anime has really strong points (excluding the ecchi parts and all--) :P

I was disappointed by the pacing. The one-shot manga moved at a more natural pace, but the OVA just ran through with breakneck speed.

Heh, I really didn't expect Minako to have that spiky hairstyle. My image of her was actually more similar to one of the one-time characters in A.I. ga Tomaranai.

This anime can be accepted, although it is not the style I love.

It's not bad, actually. Very fast pace and good OAV animation. Think Ken Akamatsu with numerous puns on Santa. Besides, the main character wasn't as spineless as Keitaro.

And yes, there's 2 booby shots (1 of them's obscured by our sub -_- and the other is in a mahou shoujo sequence).

What's the deal with the preview at the end of the 2nd part? I thought this was only 2 episodes. Any info on that?

This series is so melodramatic I don't know what else could be said about it...

...and what sort of 'specialized courses' do those Santas take anyway...

At least it the anime looks better than the manga...

I guess there will be another OVA release.

So are they gonna keep up this 1 episode per year thing? These characters don't seem to age at all.
