Ive been lookin all day for a good manga, i only found hunter x hunter but its not as good as naruto...

im looking for a series that i can GET INTO and keep wanting for more, i like a series where its deep like naruto(the ranks - chuunin, hokage, etc.), and i like a character thats wild spirited and never gives up, also a character that has badassed powers in him or something

and though i like naruto, i dont want more ninja-based manga recommended here, and i dont like those samurai type mangas for some reason

gun-type manga are ok too, not tri-gun though..

mech anime are good too, as long as its not too complicated... but i prefer the above

also pleaseee, include a link where to download the volumes one by one of the manga at (its so hard to find manga)

If you thought Hunter X Hunter was not as good as Naruto, then I'm afraid I won't be able to suggest much. You are obviously looking for shounen manga, so look around for One Piece or Rurouni Kenshin, both of which are far superior to Naruto. Don't get me wrong, I like the ninjas, but Naruto is a pretty straight-forward, generic story in the end. Give Flames of Recca a shot if nothing but ninjas will work for you.

If you want to diversify a little into shoujo head to a comic store and look for Kare Kano, Fruits Basket, or Hana Kimi. Even if you didn't like the animated versions, the pacing of the manga is much more friendly to the casual reader.

If you want to get into the really good stuff, look for Pheonix or Narutaru (aka Shadow Star) or 20th Century Boys. That's what you call a deep story. Naruto is the little kiddie pool in comparison.

I can't post links to anything except 20th Century Boys because it's all licensed. Find a good book store or comic book store near you, and patronize the hell out of them.

Here's my list :
Shakugan no Shana : 3 seasons consisted of 24 episodes each
Black God : 23 episodes + 1 recap
Freezing (even though the fanservice is over-the-top, the story itself is serious) : 12 episodes
Asura Cryin' (first half is confusing, but the second half clears up things a lot) : 26 episodes
I second Reborn! (first 25 episodes are a pain to watch because of over-the-top comedy, but when the series it the first major arc, the story gets 10 times more serious than the first 25 episodes and with lot of action.) : 202 episodes
Second 11Eyes : 12 episodes
Chaos;Head (MC has a dark past revealed in the second half.) : 12 episodes
Steins;Gate (first half is kinda confusing, but the second half looks better and less confusing) : 24 episodes
Samurai Deeper Kyo : 26 episodes
Puella Magi Madoka Magica (first three episodes looks childish, but after episode 3, it turns pretty dark) : 12 episodes
Second Fairy Tail : ongoing
Third One Piece : ongoing
