Requiring excellent staff is a given but as far as I'm concerned if the lead duo don't retain their VAs from the voice comics* and end up being one of the usual, popular choices like was done with those PVs with different casts a while back then the anime may as well not exist.

*or at worst newfaces who can channel the same kind of vibe they give
