Did not see a thread for it, so created one.

Always wanting more of this anime. Because it so much remind me of the live band performances that I watch in anime conventions.

finished season one today, and intend to finish season 2 this week.
Then come back to this thread to watch the third season. Episode one of season 3 already aired.

Very happy to be watching another season of BanG Dream!

My first question before this season started was how they were going to make Rokka a member of RAS.

We know she's been a member forever, just needed to see her become official in the anime.

The other members will definitely be blown away by how good she actually is.

I'm looking for to watching more and seeing everyone perform at the event.

A scheduling fluke occurred. Details here.

In short, S3 was originally supposed to air last season, but was delayed to this one. Meanwhile new BanG Dream singles were scheduled to come out this month and March, they contain BDs with the S3 episodes, they have not been rescheduled. Several streaming services, like HIDIVE, are streaming the episodes as the BDs are released.

The details for when episodes are expected to be available can be found in that link. All but episode 6 may be available before they air.

marathoned season 2 episode 8-13 today.

sad when Hanazono was not able to arrive in time. But they learned the lesson.. it's not possible to play in 2 bands. Happy that Hanazono choose to remain in Popipa.

Pareo looks like she's the stress reliever of Chuchu... or maybe she likes it when Chu2x kicks her? poor girl ><

at the Popipa live show... really impressive, from their humble beginnings in season 1, Kasumi and her friends has earned the respect and friendship of four other popular girl bands. They even say the popipa chant before the performance. ^^

Hard to decide the best performance, as everyone is good.

Hello Happy - always make me laugh. Their marching band feels like a circus performance mixed into band.

Pasupa - the cutie idols. Despite being busy, they manage to help Popipa.

After Glow - I like their music and choice of lighting effect.

Roselia - gothic group, always intense in their music. I think they sang Firebird as a reference that Popipa has been revived like a Phoenix?

Kasumi being invited to join Hello Happy - it would be so crazy if she performs with them. Kasumi waifu Hanazono does not approve though. xD

Rokka invited to join Popipa. She decline because too many guitarists already? Well, I hope she finds her own band someday.

Watched episode 1:

Rokka once again being invited to join Popipa, but once again she refuse. Well, she will soon have a band in RAS.

good to know that Space owner is ok. She has the good ability to make people do their best. Although are they throwing away a lot of money renting Budokan?

Saya saying "what is it now?", she seems to be getting irritated when Pareo show up in the basement again. Well, no harm. She is just there to give them an invite card.

I wonder what made Yukina decide to join Bang Dream competition? She looks serious about it too. Will definitely cause additional fatigue for their band. I remember the previous season they all unconscious from exhaustion.

Finally, Rokka belongs to a band. I'm sure Chu2x would soon consider her a permanent member.

Rokka finally get accepted by Chu2x. She's even given a new guitar.

Popipa only have 83 votes. Well, they don't need to beat the 2000+ of Roselia. They only need to beat the 1000+ of RAS. Hopefully, Popipa can manage to get 1000+ too. ><

As a fan of Roselia and RaS I am fine with current voting. PoPiPa is popular enough IRL.

Also, the MV was cool, though I hoped they'll use "HELL! or HELL?" from the new single.

P.S.: As with S2, looks like not much people on the West watch it at all.

Watched episode 5:

Wow, Roselia had their votes in the thousands with RAS just close behind. Popipa with only 100+ Is it possible for them to catch up at all?

Well, Kasumi and friends were able to still make decent music video. I had a good laugh they even included Hanazono sleeping.

Chu2x issue a challenge and Yukina accept. Can't wait for Roselia to beat RAS, and Chu2x getting enraged.

I just realize that both Kokoro and Chiyu are both rich. I wonder if both can get along.

Their personalities are very different. It would probably just result in Kokoro making Chu2x angry.

Still a bit of wait for the next episode... I heard it would be delayed to almost the end of feb.

Ep. 6 is not delayed. Eps. 1-5 aired erly. The thing is that HiDive streaming matches the BD realease (and BDs came erly with new singles) while JP airing started only a few days ago. We'll get eps. a bit 7-13 erlier.

Watched episode 6-7:

nice that we are getting some Bang Dream again. Yukina is a good leader, she knows that accepting the challenge is important for her band to grow. And Ako still the person to make me laugh with her intros.

Mocha has a funny way of talking, another person who makes me smile. Still remember the things she did in Garupa Pico.
