Judging from the latest manga chapters it looks like the second saga is going to end soon so there's a very good chance the new anime will be a second season covering the whole second saga. The first season was announced half a year before it started airing so most likely the new anime will air in April 2017. By that time the second saga should be over in the manga or about to.

That four Natatsu no Taizai episodes (well, OK, 3 so far, but I doubt tomorrow's episode will change anything) were disappointing, especially because they've stolen time from Arslan Senki. The anime's first season will have a rebroadcast starting in July. If the new anime is a second season, then this most likely means the second season will start in January 2018.
