Oh my...that pool game. I think this show really makes Frolaytia the sexy commander whenever it has a chance to
The Ho Ho Ho girl is back and her rivalry with the elite princess still hasn't changed from much before. Action was actually nice. The fighting in Alaska between the two Objects is neat.

There has to be a limit to bad luck:
- Having all your porn confiscated and humiliated in front of 20 years old office ladies. - Being forced to kick your sexy female superior officer. - Nearly blown up once, twice, three times. - Having your G-cup illusions destroyed in front of you. That said, whoever is that unknown lucky Engineer that both Elites are fighting over must be one hell of an individual. Whoever that person might be. We may never know.

I'm surprised Gattling-33 (Second Best Girl) can't angle it's main guns past parallel with its forward axis at all. Looking at the mounting, I don't see why that would have to be the case, and it would create something of a ~50 meter dead zone directly ahead of the facing of the Object, and something like ~5 degrees of internal aim would allow the pilot to cross the streams at a kilometer range, which seems like it would be handy for stopping a ghost invasion of New York fighting other Objects.

Our heroes return to Alaska, this time to stop the Information Alliance from getting the spoils of their victory over the Water Strider. They're fighting the Rush, the same Object they were deployed with during their time in the coalition against the Oceanian dictatorship. The rapid-fire beam gatling gun is as cool as a I remembered, though it's the only Object weapon effect I like. Princess vs Oh Ho Ho ends up with both Objects returning for a pit stop, and Quenser and Heivia trying to delay the Rush's repairs. Quenser gets the idea to board the Object, and once inside he finally finds out the truth about Oh Ho Ho. I had been waiting for this particular arc, really liked it in the novels and so far is great.

Poor Qwenthur and Hevia, they can never catch a break. Frolaytia and her shrew squad even get on their case for having porn, like show me a soldier that doesn't. Should have left Frolaytia to become a breeding stock.
Nice they remembered Water Strider. Continuity! So, if Ohoho's Object is specialized for Arctic environment why was it sent to Australian desert? And what exactly makes it fitted for arctic anyway? Wow. Princess must really hate that bitch. Rush whole armament system seems awfully ineffective. Object battles resemble a shoot out between figure skaters, so leaving a dead zone of 180 degrees at all times seems like an awful idea. Why did Hevia had to explain Qwenthur what a pit stop is? As well as other basic facts of Object combat? Oh god, Hevia's face when Qwenthur wonders who this amazing engineer the Elites are fighting over is, pure genius. I would have hit him too. [lol] See, that's why they should have left someone to guard those paths. So, I wonder how many people expected Ohoho to be a little brat. Watch as Qwenthur screws up in spite of holding an immense advantage so the fight doesn't end five minutes into the next episode. I can never get enough of Heavy Object. It usually makes little sense, but who cares, it's so fun! |
