I Think I Found A New Hobby

Tried it. It DOES work - easier than doing inference tracking through newsfeeds.

How to counter : delete FB messenger, and turn off location tracking on your phone. Duh.

You could just kill your phone's geo-localizing....no need to delete Messenger.

In fact I think there should be some apps (I think the Malwarebytes for Mobile is one of them) that can force no GPS as the default for your phone

In fact, even if Messenger defaults activate geo-tagging, it shouldn't work if you have disabled your GPS no? Same should apply with all apps that geo-tag
