F/SN UBW TV - Episodes 13-24 Spoiler-Free Discussion
Recognizing that the amount of people discusisng F/SN from an anime-only perspective isn't very high, I've decided in this case that there isn't much value in splitting the discussion over different episode threads every week. So this thread can be used for all discussion of the second half of the show.
This means that there won't be polls for each episode, but you can either vote in the spoiler thread (avoiding the spoilers) or just post your vote in your post if you want. Again, the premise of this whole section is that you can't post ANY references to any games or previous anime, just talk about the anime itself. Thread Guidelines
NOTE: Fate/Zero stuff can't be posted in this thread either, even behind spoiler tags. Instead, we offer this thread for Fate/Zero anime viewers.

Talk about a bomb being dropped with Shirou basically confessing. Yeah, that was pretty much what happened there. Admitted he had feelings for her to start with and all the time they spent together just made those stronger.
And yeah the whole Archer defection was kind of important . Caster has basically assembled the board here which is kind of impressive. Has Saber (just needs to get control there), Archer, herself, Assassin, and her master is a beast in terms of combat. Obviously a few pieces she doesn't control, but that's still rather amazing.

And here we see another example of what could have been an awesome twist if I hadn't already been spoiled on it... (Archer's betrayal) Granted, I suppose the way the series had been going, it wasn't exactly too far out there to assume that he might eventually just go "screw this" and team up with someone less happy-go-lucky...
Also I rather liked Shirou's confession at the end. It was surprisingly sweet considering how the dynamic between him and Rin has played out so far. Did not expect him to be so straight-forward about it, considering how he's probably a bigger tsundere than Rin is. Great to have this series back. The first half was pretty consistently excellent, and with how things are going right now, it seems quite likely that shit is going to hit the fan very, very soon. And looking at how amazing the payoff was in Fate/Zero (that doesn't really qualify as a spoiler, does it?) and how incredibly awesome the action already was in the first half where they were just setting the stage... Yeah I'm excited. And thankfully even though I am really bad at avoiding spoilers, past this point I know very little about what's going to happen.

Totally didn't see this betrayal happening >.>, thought it was a trick at first.
Also didn't expect Shirou to confess his love for her...poor saber, didn't get to do anything except moan uncomfortably :\ edit: Also when are we going to see whats under the hood caster? What are you hiding!?!?

You would probably fit better in the veteran section, because you already knows what is going to happen in the TV-series. This will make it difficult for you to speculate in this thread without taking future events into consideration.

Man this Archer... I suppose it makes much sense to see Caster as the favorite to win the race; what with her power and incredibly kinky means of doing stuff. I suppose Archer might be into that too? Meanwhile, Shirou and Rin are left without servants which makes this whole thing kinda interesting in how they'll get out of this.
Like the new OP, I honestly couldn't tell if the ED was new.

Yeah, even as a huge fan of Kalafina, I must say their contributions to this series have been pretty lackluster. Ring Your Bell sounds just like Believe sounds just like To the Beginning... Counting Fate/Zero they've made four songs for this series and Manten is the only one I'd say actually stands out much at all... Though I do still consider this new ending a slight step up from the previous one.

Interesting episode...I was thinking that they should probably hit up illya to see if they can team up or something and it looks like that is where they're headed with this...however didn't expect him the King to show up out of nowhere to throw things out of whack. Poor homunculi got wrecked... :\

Hmmm, this episode felt a bit on the slow side to me, and I must admit I found it a bit odd how easily Shirou and Rin came to the conclusion that "Hey, let's go visit that girl who attempted to murder us earlier! Surely she's our best bet for an ally in this battle!"
Also there's the completely off-hand revelation of Berserker's true identity, but then I suppose that's just a side-effect of this being the second route of the original visual novel, and it was given a more dramatic revelation in the Fate-route? Well, anyway, the ending was good though, and I'm looking forward to seeing the battle between Berserker and Blondie. Considering how insanely OP Berserker came off the last time we saw him fight, that should be an immensely entertaining battle indeed.

Turning enemies of enemies into temporary friends is nothing new in war and freeforalls. The fact that she was very threatening back when she tried to kill them only means that she's the best candidate. (as well as the only one)

Not to mention it was pretty clear that ilya had an interest in Shirou, so it would only make logical sense that she'd be the first person to consider, as well as the only one to consider at the moment.

Surprised the romantic twist hit at the start of the half way point. Sure I was expecting something to happen, but more toward the 90% mark. Course nothing really seems to have happened in the 'aww' stakes yet, but I'm sure we'll get something!
